How the EOSLift Range Is Organized

EOSLift model prefixes are consistent enough to navigate by once you know them. M and E are manual pallet jacks, W and G are electric pallet trucks, I is a scissor lift pallet truck, TA and TAD are scissor lift table carts, H is a manual stacker while S and T are electric stackers, CPD and CPDS are counterbalance forklifts, LF and LFC are stand-up mast trucks, LH is the order picker, LR is the reach stacker and LCA is the turret truck. The number that follows tracks the metric capacity class — an M20 is a two-tonne jack at 4,400 lb, an M30 is 6,600 lb, a CPD25 is 5,500 lb.

Matching an EOSLift Truck to the Site

Work the decision in this order: lift height, then aisle width, then capacity, then duty cycle. If nothing needs to go above roughly eight inches, a pallet truck is the answer and the only real question is manual or electric. If loads need to sit at bench height for picking, kitting or assembly, the scissor families do that without racking — TA and TAD carts for loose loads, the I-series scissor lift pallet trucks for palletized loads to 31.5 inches. Once loads go into racking, the choice widens. A counterbalance forklift needs the most aisle but handles trailers and yard work; the LR20 reach stacker gives up some of that flexibility for a tighter footprint; the LCA15 turret truck is the narrow-aisle answer, reaching 177.16 inches without turning the chassis to face the rack. Order pickers solve a different problem again — the LH10 raises the operator with the load for case-level picking, at 108.66 inches with the duplex mast or 177.16 inches with the triplex.

Power, Operator Position and Duty Level

Every powered EOSLift truck in this catalog is battery electric; the spec sheets list battery as the power type throughout, so there are no internal combustion units here. That is a practical constraint worth naming up front: these are indoor and mixed-use trucks. The CPDS20 runs solid rubber tires while the CPD25 is specified with pneumatic tires, which changes what surfaces each is comfortable on. Operator position varies by family — the W15E is a walkie, the LR20 is offered stand-on, the LF, LFC, LH and LCA families put the operator standing, and the CPD and CPDS forklifts are seated per their spec sheets. Load centers are tight across the powered range: 19.68 inches on the CPDS20 and LFC20, 23.62 inches on the LCA15, so long or overhanging loads derate faster than the headline capacity suggests. Service weight matters for older floors and mezzanines — the CPD25 is listed at 7,936 lb including battery, the CPDS20 at 7,054.79 lb.

On compliance, OSHA's powered industrial truck standard at 29 CFR 1910.178 requires employers to train and evaluate operators before they run forklifts, stackers, order pickers, reach trucks and powered pallet trucks unsupervised — which is most of the powered catalog on this page. Manual pallet jacks and hand-cranked scissor carts are not powered industrial trucks and fall outside that rule. On delivery, weight decides the method: powered trucks in the several-thousand-pound range move by freight and need a dock or a forklift to receive, while hand carts and manual jacks are a simpler proposition.
