Skid steer pallet forks are an attachment pairing two steel tines with a mounting frame that connects to your loader's quick-attach plate. They let a skid steer lift, carry, and place palletized loads, lumber, and bundled material, turning the machine into a jobsite or yard forklift.
Buy a complete fork-and-frame package if you're starting from scratch. Choose a frame-only option, like the standard or heavy-duty fork frames, when your tines are still serviceable and you only need a new mounting structure. Individual hydraulic and standard forks let you replace worn or bent tines.
Match the frame to your machine and workflow. Standard and heavy-duty frames suit full-size skid steers and heavier loads. A walkthrough frame gives the operator clear forward visibility and easy step-through access. Mini fork frames are sized for compact and mini skid steers with smaller mount plates.
Never exceed your loader's rated operating capacity or the fork frame's rating. The Star Industries frame is rated at 3,700 lb; confirm your skid steer's lift capacity and pallet weight, then size the attachment to the lower of the two figures for safe handling.
