Fork class is set by your forklift's carriage, not the load. Class II carriages take smaller hook spacing for lighter trucks, Class III covers most mid-size lifts, and Class IV fits high-capacity machines. Confirm the class stamped on your carriage before ordering so the hook mount seats correctly.
Choose standard forks for general pallet and unit-load handling. Choose fully tapered and polished forks when you regularly slide under low, tight, or palletless loads — the thinned, smoothed tip enters more easily and reduces scuffing on the load below.
