Pressure washer guns and wands are the parts an operator holds every shift, and they are usually the first components to fail on a working machine. This category collects 34 replacement and upgrade options from BE Power Equipment, priced from $18 to $179: straight gun and wand assemblies in 36-, 47-, 59- and 79-inch lengths, insulated and stainless steel wands for hot water work, telescoping wands that extend to 12, 18 and 24 feet, gutter cleaner attachments, and specialty spray guns including low-pressure, weeping and high-temperature shut-off models.

A pressure washer gun and wand is the operator end of the system: the trigger gun controls flow, and the wand (or lance) carries that flow out to a nozzle at a working distance. Everything in this collection comes from BE Power Equipment and falls between $18 and $179, which puts most of it in replacement-part territory rather than capital spending. The range covers four broad jobs. Straight gun and wand assemblies handle general washing. Insulated and stainless steel wands are built for heated water. Telescoping wands and gutter cleaner attachments move the spray up and away from the operator. Specialty guns — low pressure, weeping, horizontal, and surface-cleaner guns — solve narrower problems that a standard trigger gun handles poorly.
Start with the machine, not the wand. The gun and wand you buy must be rated at or above the pressure and temperature your pressure washer produces, and it has to thread or couple to what is already on the hose. Underrating the gun is the most common purchasing mistake in this category: a gun rated for a cold-water consumer unit will not survive on a hot-water commercial machine, and the failure usually happens at the trigger under load.
Length is the second decision, and it is mostly about reach and control. Longer wands cover more area per pass and keep the operator further from splashback, but they load the wrists more over a full shift because of the leverage. Shorter wands give better control in tight work and around detail.
| Wand length in this collection | Typical use |
|---|---|
| 18-inch flex wand | Detail and awkward-angle work where a rigid wand cannot be aimed |
| 29-inch gutter cleaner kit | Curved gutter work from a ladder or as part of an extension setup |
| 36-inch | Vehicle and equipment washing, close-quarters cleaning, high control |
| 47-inch and 59-inch | General-purpose siding, concrete, fleet and shop work |
| 79-inch | Maximum standing reach on a fixed wand; walls, trailers, tall equipment |
| 12-, 18- and 24-foot telescoping | Second-story siding, gutters, soffits and overhead work from the ground |
The 12-, 18- and 24-foot telescoping wands exist for one reason: they let an operator clean high surfaces while standing on the ground. That matters commercially because ladder work is where washing crews get hurt, and OSHA's general industry ladder rules (29 CFR 1910.23) impose requirements on ladder condition and use that a ground-based tool sidesteps entirely.
Telescoping wands are heavier and more awkward than fixed wands, and the load grows as the wand extends. Buyers routinely underestimate this. Plan on a belt or harness for full extension work, keep the extension no longer than the job needs, and check the locking collars before every use. The collection also carries a replacement gun assembly for telescoping wands, which is worth knowing about because the gun end typically wears out long before the pole does.
For gutters specifically, the collection includes curved gutter cleaner attachments in M22 and 1/4-inch quick connect versions plus the 29-inch gutter cleaner wand kit. These clip onto an existing wand and turn the spray back into the trough, so debris is pushed out rather than packed down.
Hot water changes what the operator can hold. Insulated wands — offered here in 36-, 47-, 59- and 79-inch lengths, in both standard and stainless steel versions — carry a covering that keeps the tube surface from becoming a burn hazard. If your machine is a hot-water unit, an insulated wand is not an upgrade, it is the correct part. Stainless steel versions add corrosion resistance, which matters where detergents, salt, food processing residue or wash-bay chemistry are involved.
At the top of the pressure range, this collection carries a 5,000 PSI commercial high temperature shut-off gun and a 5,000 PSI spray gun. A shut-off gun stops flow at the gun when the trigger is released, which is standard practice on commercial machines. There is also a 47-inch dual lance with hot water gun for operators who need to switch between spray patterns without changing tools.
Fitment is where orders go wrong. M22 is the common threaded connection on residential and light commercial machines, and several items here are specified as M22, including the gutter cleaner attachment and the 3000 PSI electric pressure washer accessory kit. Quick connect couplers are the other pattern; the collection includes a 1/4-inch quick connect gutter cleaner. Before ordering, check the fitting on your hose and on your existing gun, note the thread or coupler size, and confirm your machine's pressure and maximum inlet temperature.
Some items here are component-level rather than complete assemblies — front lance assemblies, gun assemblies for specific wand families, and guns designed for particular BE wand models. These are the right choice when one part has failed and the rest of the assembly is sound. If both ends are worn, a complete gun and wand assembly usually costs less than replacing the pieces separately.
High-pressure water injection injuries are a genuine medical emergency, not a bad scrape, and they are caused by the same stream that cleans concrete. OSHA's general PPE standard (29 CFR 1910.132) requires employers to assess workplace hazards and provide appropriate protective equipment, which for pressure washing normally means eye protection, gloves and non-slip footwear at minimum.
On maintenance, most gun and wand failures announce themselves. Watch for a trigger that leaks when released, a gun that will not fully shut off, stiff or gritty trigger action, and weeping at the wand-to-gun joint. Replace O-rings before they blow rather than after. Relieve pressure and disconnect the machine before changing any component, and never bypass or tape down a trigger safety latch. Store wands straight and dry; a bent wand fatigues at the bend and fails there.
