Tractor attachments for sale here cover the jobs compact tractor owners hit most: digging, grading, loading and handling pallets or bales. The collection carries eight attachments from two US builders, Loflin Fabrication and Star Industries, priced from $29 to $3,249. It includes low profile buckets in 36 to 48 inch widths, Class 2 pallet forks in 36, 42 and 48 inch lengths, an 84 to 96 inch land leveler, a compact tractor backhoe, a stump bucket, a hayspear, and two auger bits sized for everything from black dirt to fractured rock. Check mount type and working width against your loader or three-point hitch before ordering.

This page lists eight tractor attachments from two manufacturers: Loflin Fabrication, which supplies six of the items, and Star Industries, which supplies the two auger bits. Prices run from $29 to $3,249, so the range spans a single hard-ground bit up to a compact tractor backhoe. The table below matches a job to a tool. Every dimension in it comes from our own product data, not from a general spec sheet.
| Attachment | Typical job | From our product data |
|---|---|---|
| Compact Tractor Low Profile Bucket | Scooping, backfilling, loading under low clearance | 36" to 48" working width (custom sizes available), 3/16" steel sides and bottom, 1/2" x 4" cutting edge on select models, optional 1/2" wear bars |
| Compact Tractor Pallet Forks | Pallets, crates, bundled and banded material | Standard Class 2, tines 1 3/8" thick x 4" wide solid forged alloy steel, 36", 42" and 48" lengths, 1/4" plate fork guard, CNC-machined carriage bar with multiple locking positions |
| Tractor Land Leveler | Grading drives, pads, lots and arenas | 84" to 96" working width range, 7-gauge (3/16") steel, reinforced replaceable cutting edge, hydraulic lift, adjustable cutting angle; scarifier bars and transport wheels on some models |
| Compact Tractor Backhoe | Trenches, footings, irregular excavation an auger cannot do | See the product page for current sizing |
| Compact Tractor Stump Bucket | Prying stumps, roots and rock out of the ground | See the product page for current sizing |
| Compact Tractor Hayspear | Moving and stacking round bales | See the product page for current sizing |
| Single Flight Heavy Duty Auger Bit | Post holes, footings, tree planting | 6" to 36" auger diameter range, cast steel boring head, drive-in replaceable teeth, heat-treated steel shaft; rated for black dirt, clay, asphalt, frozen ground and fractured rock |
| T-Post Auger Bit | Pilot holes for T-posts in hard ground | Model 160A-TP2, 2" carbide pilot, 1⅝" x 38" stress-proof steel shaft, 30" drilling depth, spiral design; rated for dirt, clay, concrete and solid rock |
Three tools here dig, and they are not interchangeable. An auger bit bores a clean round hole and is the fastest option when you need many holes of the same diameter, but it only works with an auger drive unit and a hydraulic circuit to turn it. The Star Industries Single Flight Heavy Duty Auger Bit is offered across a 6" to 36" diameter range and fits standard auger drive systems; the T-Post Auger Bit is the narrow tool for punching post holes where the ground is packed, frozen or rocky, with 30" of drilling depth and a 2" carbide pilot to keep it tracking.
A backhoe is what you want for trenches, footings, drainage and any excavation that is not a round hole. A stump bucket is a different idea again: it concentrates the loader's breakout force on a narrow leading edge so you can pry roots, stumps and buried rock instead of scooping around them. Before any of the three goes in the ground, contact the national 811 service so public utilities are located and marked.
Loader work is where most compact tractor owners spend their hours. The low profile bucket earns its name by keeping the top edge out of your sightline, which makes it easier to see the cutting edge, load a truck bed and work under overhangs. It is built from 3/16" steel through the sides and bottom, with a 1/2" x 4" cutting edge on select models and optional 1/2" wear bars for abrasive material.
Pallet forks and hayspears change the arithmetic. Both put the load well forward of the loader pins, and a loader's usable capacity drops as the load moves out and up. Your working limit is the lower of two numbers: the attachment's rating and your tractor's loader lift capacity measured at full height and full reach. Check your tractor's loader chart, and add rear ballast before you carry anything heavy on the front. Our pallet forks use adjustable spacing on a CNC-machined carriage bar with multiple locking positions, so one set covers standard pallets and odd-width bundles.
Compatibility comes down to the interface, not the brand. ASABE standard S217 defines three-point free-link hitch categories, and matching your tractor's category is the first check for any three-point implement. Loader attachments instead use a quick-attach plate, and while the skid steer style plate is widely used, "universal" is worth verifying against your specific loader rather than assumed.
In this collection, the pallet forks mount via a three-point hitch or quick-hitch, or a common quick-attach plate. The low profile bucket uses a quick-attach system with compatibility across most compact tractors. Both auger bits are built for standard skid steer and auger drive systems, which means you need the drive unit itself and enough hydraulic flow to turn it. The land leveler uses a hydraulic lift, so plan on a free rear remote.
Plate thickness is the honest signal of how long an attachment survives. The buckets and the land leveler are built from 3/16" steel, and the fork tines are 1 3/8" thick by 4" wide solid forged alloy. Just as important is what is replaceable: the land leveler has a reinforced replaceable cutting edge, the low profile bucket takes optional bolt-on wear bars, and the Single Flight auger bit uses drive-in replaceable teeth. Those parts are meant to be consumed, and replacing them is far cheaper than replacing a worn-through bucket floor.
Keep it simple in service. Re-torque bolt-on edges and wear bars after the first few hours of use, then periodically. Swap auger teeth before they go round, since dull teeth push instead of cut and load the drive unit and the tractor. Store attachments off bare ground, and consider the optional powder-coated finish if equipment lives outdoors.
The most frequent mistake is sizing to the job instead of to the machine. A wider bucket or a longer fork moves more material per pass and reduces what the tractor can safely lift and steer with. Attachments also change the machine's balance: OSHA 1928.51 addresses rollover protective structures and seat belts on agricultural tractors used by employees, and a heavy front load with no rear ballast works directly against tractor stability. If you are cutting or moving timber, OSHA 1910.266 covers logging operations and is worth reading before you buy for that work.
Two more worth naming. OSHA 1910.178 governs powered industrial trucks, which is a different rule from the agricultural standards above, so bolting forks onto a tractor loader does not turn it into a rated forklift, and no attachment ever makes a personnel platform. And an auger bit is a bit, not a system, so budget for the drive unit and confirm your hydraulic flow before ordering.
