The Amulet Range We Stock

Amulet Manufacturing Company builds tooling for hydraulic excavators. The eight products on this page fall into four working groups: tilt buckets, hydraulic thumbs, ground-engaging tools, and couplers and adapters. Nothing in the line is a universal fit. Each item is built to an excavator weight class and to a specific mounting arrangement, and Amulet publishes a fitment chart that ties every build to listed excavator makes and models. Across the range, prices run from $1,095 to $4,195 depending on family, size class and configuration.

Tilt Buckets: Standard or High Capacity

Both tilt buckets do the same job — grading, sloping, ditch cleanout and backfill at an angle without repositioning the machine — but they cover different halves of the size range. The standard Amulet Excavator Tilt Bucket spans six weight classes, from 1–3 ton excavators up to 10–15 ton machines, in 36-inch, 42-inch and 48-inch widths, for 13 configurations in all. The High Capacity Excavator Tilt Bucket starts at 3–5 ton excavators and runs to 30–40 ton machines across nine weight classes and 36 configurations.

If your excavator sits in the 3–15 ton overlap, the decision is about duty rather than fit. The standard bucket suits utility, landscape and light municipal work. The High Capacity version is the choice where the bucket grades continuously in heavier material, or lives on a machine that also runs a thumb and takes clamping loads through the bucket. Both share the same four mounting options, so either can be ordered as a blank weld-on plate or matched to the coupler already on the machine.

Hydraulic Thumbs: PowerClamp and PowerBrute

Amulet's two thumbs both cover 11 excavator weight classes, from 1–3 tons through 40–50 tons, with 15 configurations each. They are specified differently, and that is the real basis for choosing.

The PowerClamp is ordered by clamp style: Non-Linkage, Non-Linkage for Coupler, Linkage, and Linkage for Coupler. The two decisions there are whether you want linkage geometry, which keeps the thumb face working parallel to the bucket through more of its arc, and whether the machine runs a quick coupler that the thumb has to clear.

The PowerBrute is ordered by how it connects to the stick: Weld-On Base Plate, Coupler Pin-On with Weld-On Base Plate, a "Thumb-Ready" option that uses an existing OEM cylinder mount, and a Case and John Deere option. If your excavator left the factory thumb-ready, the PowerBrute is usually the shorter path to a working thumb because the cylinder mounting is already on the machine.

Rakes, Rippers and the XBOOM Adapter

The HoeMate Multi-Tine Rake has the widest carrier coverage in the line: 10 weight classes from 1–3 ton through 30–40 ton excavators, in 3-tine, 4-tine and 5-tine models, for 17 configurations. Tine count is the working decision. Fewer, wider-spaced tines shed fines and soil faster for root and brush raking; more tines hold smaller material for demolition sorting and cleanup passes.

The Excavator Ripper – Severe-Duty is the single-shank tool for frost, hardpan, compacted fill, roots and rock that a bucket will not break out. The Mini-Hitch Manual Quick Coupler lets a mini excavator change pin-on tools without the cost of a hydraulic coupler circuit.

The XBOOM Excavator to Skid Steer Adapter System covers seven weight classes, from 1.5–1.7 ton through 5.4–6 ton excavators, with Mini Walk Behind, Mini-Universal and Standard Universal adapter options. It puts a skid steer attachment interface on the excavator stick, which matters most on mixed fleets where the skid steer tooling is already bought and paid for.

Fitment, Mounting and Buying Through Vovlift

Four mount options recur across the range: blank weld-on plate only, wedge-style coupler, pin-on / pin-grabber-style coupler, and Wain-Roy / cross-pin-style coupler. Ordering a blank plate makes sense when you have a shop that can weld the interface to match an unusual coupler; otherwise, order the mount that matches the coupler on the machine. Weight class alone is not enough to confirm fit — Amulet's fitment chart lists the excavator makes and models each build is cut for, and a 5-ton machine from one manufacturer does not necessarily share pin centers with another.

Vovlift is an authorized Amulet dealer, so parts, warranty and factory fitment questions run through the manufacturer rather than around it.
