What excavator sizes does this ripper fit?

It covers 11 excavator weight classes, from 1-3 ton machines up to 40-50 ton machines, with a compatible base machine weight range of 2,000 to 100,000 lbs. There are 15 configurations available, so you select the one matching your specific excavator make and model per Amulet's fitment chart.

What mounting options are available?

Four options: a blank weld-on plate only, a wedge-style coupler, a pin-on/pin-grabber-style coupler, or a Wain-Roy/cross-pin-style coupler. Choose based on how your excavator's quick coupler or stick is set up. Note that mounting/pin hardware is sold separately from the ripper itself.

Does it come with mounting pins?

No. The ripper includes a replaceable chisel tooth and standard tooth adapters, but the pin set for mounting is sold separately and must be ordered on its own.

What is this ripper built for?

It's designed for hard pack, shale, permafrost, and rocky soil where a standard bucket won't penetrate. It uses a reinforced single tine with a reinforced connection and is fully gusseted for severe-duty use in these tough digging conditions.

What is it made of and how durable is it?

The ripper is built from T-1 and AR400 steel, both wear-resistant alloys used for high-stress attachments. It's classified as a severe-duty design, manufactured 100% in the USA, and backed by a 2 year warranty.

Is the tooth replaceable if it wears out?

Yes, it uses a replaceable chisel tooth, which is included with the ripper, along with standard tooth adapters. This lets you swap the tooth as it wears without replacing the whole tine assembly.

Warranty

Amulet Manufacturing Limited Warranty. Amulet warrants non-hydraulic components it manufactures to the original purchaser against defects in material, design and workmanship for two (2) years from purchase. Hydraulic components — cylinders, valves, fittings, hoses and couplers — are warranted for one (1) year, subject to their respective manufacturer's warranty. Amulet repairs or replaces defective product free of charge within the policy limits.
