The NTO-11AQ is a commercial-grade two-post lift rated at 11,000 lbs, built on an overhead design rather than a floorplate. The drive structure runs across the top beam, so the floor between the columns stays clear. You can roll a toolbox, transmission jack, or oil drain straight under a raised vehicle without stepping over a crossbar. The overhead beam carries an automatic cut-off switch that stops the rise before a tall vehicle contacts the crossbar, which protects both the roof and the beam. Direct-drive hydraulic cylinders move the carriages through smooth, even travel, and a pair of 3/8-inch aircraft-grade synchronization cables keeps both sides rising together under load. A single-point safety release disengages the mechanical locks on both columns from one position.

Fit check: bay dimensions and clearances

Measure the bay before you order. The NTO-11AQ stands 145 inches tall overall — about 12 feet — and spans 145 inches wide, so plan for at least that much ceiling clearance plus headroom for the tallest vehicle you intend to raise. The columns set 118 inches apart with a 108-inch drive-thru width between the posts, which governs how wide a vehicle you can pull through without contacting a column. The arms drop to a 4.5-inch lowered height, low enough to slide under most cars before lifting, and raise to a 72-inch lifting height. Each column sits on an 18-inch by 20-inch base plate, so confirm you have sound, level concrete under both footprints and enough room outside the columns to open doors on a raised vehicle.

Power, concrete, and installation requirements

The NTO-11AQ runs on 220V single-phase service and uses a 3 HP motor, so confirm you have a 220V circuit at the install location before the lift arrives. It anchors into a minimum 4-inch concrete slab rated at 3,000 PSI, and the columns need to go into sound, level concrete that meets that spec. A full rise takes about 40 seconds. Mounting and anchor hardware ships with the lift along with the installation manual, so the work on your end is confirming the slab, the power, and the ceiling height. If your slab does not meet the 4-inch, 3,000 PSI minimum, plan on cutting and pouring proper footings before installation rather than anchoring into what is already there.

What ships with the lift and how it arrives

Every NTO-11AQ ships with its hydraulic power unit, a set of machined steel truck adapters, mounting and anchor hardware, and the installation manual. The truck adapters stack to reach the lift points on trucks and taller frames, which is what lets the same lift handle small cars and large trucks. Shipping to the lower 48 is included. The lift moves by LTL freight on a 48-foot semi; the driver does not unload it and liftgate service is not available, so you will need a forklift, telehandler, tractor, or similar equipment on site to take the crated lift off the truck. You schedule the delivery appointment with the freight carrier directly. If your site cannot accept a semi, the shipment can be routed to your nearest freight terminal for pickup.
