FAQ about this model
What vehicles will the NTO-10A handle?
It is rated at 10,000 lbs, with three-stage front arms and two-stage rear arms that adjust to short and long wheelbases. Drop-in adapters in 1.5-, 3-, and 6-inch heights extend the reach to truck and SUV pickup points.
How much ceiling height do I need?
Plan for a bay with at least 12 feet of ceiling clearance; overall height of the lift is 145 inches. Confirm the exact clearance for your installation against the installation manual.
What concrete does the NTO-10A require?
A level concrete slab of at least 4 inches at 3,000 PSI, anchored per the installation manual. The lift cannot be installed on asphalt or other unstable surfaces.
What are the electrical requirements?
The power unit runs on 220V single-phase, 60 Hz power and draws 3 HP. A qualified electrician should make the connection on a dedicated, properly protected circuit.
What's included with the lift?
The 220V, 3 HP power unit and motor, floor mounting hardware and anchor bolts, drop-in truck adapters in 1.5", 3", and 6" heights, rubber door protectors for both columns, and the installation and owner's manual.
Does it come with hydraulic fluid?
The lift uses AW32 non-detergent hydraulic oil and the reservoir holds about 12 quarts. Confirm fluid availability when you order so the lift is ready to commission after installation.
How long does installation take?
Most installers complete setup in about three to four hours, plus the electrical hookup. The lift anchors to the slab and is cycled several times to bleed air before any vehicle is loaded.
How does the NTO-10A ship, and do I need to unload it?
It ships by LTL common-carrier freight on a standard semi-trailer at about 1,407 lbs on the pallet. The driver does not unload, and lift-gate service is not available for lifts of this size, so you need a forklift, telehandler, tractor, or similar equipment on site.
What is covered under warranty?
Parts are covered for 1 year with no labor coverage; failed parts are diagnosed by phone and shipped free by ground. The hydraulic cylinders have a 30-day full warranty, after which a seal kit is provided. Rubber lifting pads and labor are not covered.
