Product Overview
In short
The Triumph NT-11 is an 11,000 lb asymmetric two-post auto lift with a drive-over floor plate instead of an overhead crossbar. It raises cars, trucks, vans and SUVs to a 72" lifting height on a 220V single-phase circuit.

Floor-plate design and shop clearances

The NT-11 is a two-post lift whose columns are joined at the floor by a drive-over base plate rather than an overhead crossbar, so no top bar cuts into ceiling clearance. The tallest fixed point is the 116" column itself. Overall width is 138", distance between posts is 112" measured at mirror height, and drive-through width at the tires is 102". Lifting height is 72" and lowered height is 4.5", low enough to clear low-profile vehicles. Rated capacity is 11,000 lb, distributed at 2,750 lb per arm pad across all four arms β€” the lift is designed to raise the entire vehicle on all four pads, never one end or one corner. When you plan the bay, allow for the 116" column plus the tallest vehicle at working height, and keep heaters, building supports and electrical lines clear of the area.

Asymmetric arms, pads and safety hardware

The arm set is asymmetric: the two front arms are three-piece double-telescoping sections reaching 29.50" to 49.25", and the two rear arms are two-piece single-telescoping sections reaching 34.25" to 49.25". That geometry seats the vehicle rearward of the column centerline so doors open clear of the posts during loading and unloading. Each arm ends in a rubber lift pad and accepts stackable steel truck adapters for frames that need extra reach, up to a 9" maximum pad height. Arms mount on 1-1/2" pins, and rack-and-gear arm restraints engage automatically to stop the swing arms drifting under load. A multi-position mechanical safety latch on each column engages automatically as the carriage rises and holds the lift on lock until both releases are pulled.

Power unit, hydraulics and electrical service

Lifting is handled by dual hydraulic cylinders, one per column, kept in sync by dual equalizer cables routed over top and bottom sheaves. The electric-hydraulic power unit is column-mounted and can be installed on either column, so you can put the controls on whichever side suits your bay layout. It runs on 220V single-phase service at 60 Hz and needs a dedicated 30-amp circuit; have a certified electrician make the hook-up to comply with local code. The system uses about 3 gallons of AW32 hydraulic oil and raises the lift to its 72" maximum height in 56 seconds. Triumph states ISO 9001 manufacturing and CE conformity for the lift. Confirm the dedicated 220V single-phase circuit is available before you buy β€” it is the most common install delay on a lift this size.

Concrete, delivery and warranty terms

The NT-11 installs on a level, cured concrete floor with a minimum thickness of 4" rated at 3,000 PSI. Do not install on asphalt, over expansion joints, outdoors, or on a second floor over a basement. Shipping weight is 1,550 lb and the lift moves by LTL common carrier on a 48-foot semi. You unload it β€” the driver will not, and lift-gate service is not offered on auto lifts β€” so plan for a forklift, Bobcat, tractor, tow truck or backhoe, or have it held at the carrier's nearest freight terminal for pickup. Installation is not included in the base price; the supplied manual covers site layout, anchor bolts, power-unit mounting, cable routing, hydraulic hook-up and test run, and Triumph notes two people can typically assemble the lift in a few hours. Warranty is 1 year on parts, no labor.

FAQ about this model

What concrete does the NT-11 need?
A level, cured concrete floor a minimum of 4 inches thick and rated at least 3,000 PSI. Do not install on asphalt, over expansion joints, outdoors, or on a second floor over a basement.

What electrical service does the NT-11 require?
The column-mounted power unit runs on 220V single-phase service at 60 Hz and needs a dedicated 30-amp circuit. Have a certified electrician make the hook-up so the install complies with local code.

How much ceiling height do I need for this lift?
The floor-plate design has no overhead crossbar, so the tallest fixed point is the 116-inch column, about 9 feet 8 inches. Plan for the column height plus the tallest vehicle raised to working height, and keep heaters, building supports and electrical lines out of the way.

What does asymmetric mean on the NT-11?
The two front arms are shorter three-piece double-telescoping arms and the two rear arms are longer two-piece single-telescoping arms. That sets the vehicle rearward of the column centerline so the doors open clear of the posts when you load and unload.

How much weight can the NT-11 lift, and how is it distributed?
Rated capacity is 11,000 lb, distributed at 2,750 lb per arm pad across all four arms. The lift is designed to raise the entire vehicle on all four pads β€” never use it to raise only one end or one corner.

What comes in the box with the NT-11?
Two columns with carriages, the drive-over base plate, two hydraulic cylinders, the electric-hydraulic power unit, four asymmetric swing arms with rubber pads and pad holders, 1-1/2" arm pins, rack-and-gear arm restraints, equalizer cables and chains, hydraulic hoses, a set of stackable steel truck adapters, floor anchors (3/4" Γ— 5-1/2") and mounting hardware, and the installation and operation manual.

Is installation included, or do I install it myself?
Installation is not included in the base price. The supplied manual covers site layout, anchor-bolt installation, power-unit mounting, cable routing, hydraulic hook-up and test run, and Triumph notes the lift can typically be assembled by two people in a few hours. Many shop owners install in-house, and third-party installation is also common.

How does the NT-11 ship, and do I need to unload it?
It ships freight on an LTL common carrier on a 48-foot semi truck at a 1,550 lb shipping weight, and you are responsible for unloading β€” the driver will not unload it and lift-gate service is not available for auto lifts. Plan for a forklift, Bobcat, tractor, tow truck or backhoe, or have the lift routed to the carrier's nearest freight terminal for pickup. You schedule the delivery appointment with the freight company.
