FAQ about this model
Will the NT-9C fit under a low ceiling?
Because the cables and hose run through the floor plate instead of an overhead crossbar, the only fixed overhead dimension is the 111-inch columns β you don't need the 12-plus feet an overhead two-post lift requires. Measure your ceiling against the column height plus the height of the tallest vehicle you plan to raise.
What are the power requirements for the NT-9C?
It runs on 220V with a 3 HP motor. The 220V power unit and motor are included with the lift.
What concrete does the NT-9C need?
Triumph rates the NT-9C for installation on 3,000 PSI concrete. Confirm your slab meets that rating, and check thickness and condition, before anchoring.
How much can the NT-9C lift?
It is rated for 9,000 lb. The three-stage front arms and included truck adapters let it reach pickup points on a wide range of cars, trucks, and SUVs within that rating.
What's the difference between drive-thru width and width between posts?
Width between posts is 106 inches, measured up at vehicle mirror height. Drive-thru width is 96 inches, measured between the arms at floor level β that's the number to use when checking whether a wide vehicle can drive in.
What's included with the NT-9C?
The crate includes the 220V power unit with 3 HP motor, floor (anchor) mounting hardware, truck adapters, and the installation manual.
Does the NT-9C have an electric safety shutoff?
No. The NT-9C does not have an electric safety shutoff. It does use a dual-point lock release that drops the safety locks on both columns together.
Can I install the NT-9C myself?
It ships with floor mounting hardware and an installation manual. Per the manual, do not drill the anchor holes until the cables and hoses are in place and the floor cover has been used to confirm the posts are the correct distance apart.
How does the NT-9C ship, and will the driver unload it?
It ships LTL freight on a 48-foot semi and weighs about 1,303 lb crated. The driver does not unload it and liftgate service is not available for auto lifts, so you'll need a forklift, tractor, Bobcat, tow truck, or similar machinery β or the shipment can be routed to the carrier's nearest freight terminal for pickup.
