The SJ-35 is a 3,500 lb hydraulic jack that rides on the runways of a Triumph service-and-storage four-post lift and slides fore and aft across the open center of the lift. With the vehicle already up on the ramps, you position the jack under an axle or cross-member, raise that end clear of the runway, and work wheels-free — pull wheels, service brakes, or work suspension — without moving the car to a second lift. That is the practical difference between a storage-style four-post and a working service bay: the jack is what converts one into the other. It lifts one end of the vehicle at a time, within its 3,500 lb rating.

Fitment: gap width, pad reach and heights

Two dimensions decide whether this jack works in your bay. First, the frame: it adjusts across a gap width of 31 to 46 inches so it spans between the lift runways rather than sitting on one of them. Second, the pads: they extend from a 39-inch collapsed width out to 63 inches to reach factory lift points across a range of vehicles, from narrow-track cars to wider trucks and SUVs. Height matters too. Collapsed, the pads sit just 4.75 inches tall, which is what lets the jack slide under low vehicles and store flat under the lift. The jack raises to an 11-inch pad height on its own and reaches up to 16.5 inches with extensions fitted.

Which lifts the SJ-35 fits

The SJ-35 is built specifically for Triumph service-and-storage four-post lifts, and the compatibility list is closed rather than a general guideline. It fits the NSS-8, NSS-8XLT, USA8000, USA8000XLT, NSS-8 X1 and NSS-8SQ — those models only. It is not compatible with other lifts, so confirm your lift model number before ordering rather than measuring your runway gap and assuming it will drop in. The 31-to-46-inch gap width adjustment exists to accommodate the runway spacing across that Triumph lift family, not to make the jack universal. If your lift is a two-post, a scissor, or a four-post outside the NSS-8 series, this is not the right jack for it.

There is no air line to run and no electrical hookup to plan for, which keeps installation to positioning the jack on the runways and adjusting the frame to your gap width. It also means the SJ-35 works in a garage with no compressor and no dedicated circuit. Triumph covers the SJ-35 with a 1-year parts warranty — parts only, no labor. If a part fails, a phone call and remote troubleshooting get a free replacement shipped by ground service; the labor to install it is not covered. The rubber lifting pads are excluded, and the hydraulic cylinder carries a 30-day full warranty, after which Triumph supplies a seal kit.

Triumph Limited Warranty. Triumph covers parts and product defects for one (1) year; labor is not included. Hydraulic cylinders carry a 30-day full warranty, after which a seal kit is supplied for cylinder service. Rubber lifting pads are not covered. The warranty applies to the original purchaser with proof of purchase.
