Three vehicles in one bay

The NSS-5x2 stacks two sets of runways above a single parking spot, so two vehicles sit in the air and a third parks on the floor underneath. Each runway is rated to 5,000 lb per vehicle, for 10,000 lb combined across the two elevated cars. The top vehicle rises to a 143-inch lift height and the middle vehicle to 71 inches, with 65.5 inches of clearance under the runway for the car parked below. Runways are 180 inches long and 19 inches wide, with 37.5 inches between them. Six drip trays sit between the decks so fluid from an upper vehicle stays off the one below it. That makes the lift a fit for collector storage, a multi-car garage, or a shop that needs extra vehicles off the ground.

Space and ceiling you need

Measure the ceiling first. The lift's overall height is 147 inches — 12 feet 3 inches — and the top runway carries a vehicle to a 143-inch lift height, so confirm your ceiling clears the specific car you plan to store on the top deck before ordering. On the floor, the lift is 101 inches wide overall and 199 inches long without the approach ramps, or 225 inches long with them, so plan the bay depth around the ramp position you intend to use. Drive-through width is 93 inches, and the 180-inch runways let vehicles pull straight on and off rather than being backed into position. Lowered height is 5 inches, which eases drive-on for lower-clearance vehicles.

Power, locks and lift speed

The NSS-5x2 runs on standard 110-volt power, so it does not require a dedicated 220-volt circuit like many shop lifts. A full lift cycle takes about 125 seconds. Locking is automatic: the electric locks engage as the runways rise, so the lift sets itself as it goes up rather than requiring you to stop at a lock position. Lowering uses a single-point 24-volt electric release that drops all locks together, so you are not walking the lift to release each corner by hand. The default standard finish is grey. Between the automatic locks and the single-point release, day-to-day cycling is a one-person job once the vehicle is on the runways.

Delivery, unloading and warranty

The lift ships on an LTL common carrier and arrives on a 48-foot semi at roughly 3,500 lb. The driver does not unload it and lift-gate service is not available, so you need equipment that can handle the full weight — a forklift, Bobcat, tractor, tow truck, or backhoe all work. If you cannot unload at your location, the carrier can hold the shipment at its nearest freight terminal for pickup with a trailer or moving van. You schedule the delivery appointment directly with the freight company. Triumph lifts carry a 1-year parts warranty, parts only with no labor; replacement parts and ground shipping are free on covered failures. Hydraulic cylinders carry a 30-day full warranty, after which a seal kit is provided. Rubber lifting pads are not covered.
