FAQ about this model
Does the USA8000 need a 220V circuit?
No. The power unit runs on 110 volts and plugs into a standard household outlet, so no dedicated 220-volt circuit or special wiring is required.
What kind of concrete does this lift need?
Per the installation manual, a minimum of 4 inches of 3,500-psi steel-reinforced concrete with no more than 2 degrees of slope. Do not install it on asphalt or wood.
How much ceiling height do I need?
The runways rise to a 73-inch lift height, and overall lift height is 82 inches. Add your vehicle's height to the 73-inch lift height, plus whatever working clearance you want, to find the ceiling height your space needs.
Can I use it to store two cars?
Yes. Park one car on the runways above a second car on the floor. The three included drip trays sit between the runways and keep fluid from the upper vehicle off the one below.
What is included with the lift?
Two drive-on diamond-plate approach ramps with wheel stops, three drip trays, a jack tray for a bottle or floor jack, a caster kit, and the installation and operation manual.
Can I move the lift after it is set up?
Yes. The included caster kit lets you roll the lift around the shop or garage, so it is fully portable and does not have to stay in one spot.
How much floor space does the USA8000 take up?
It measures 112" overall width β 124" with the power unit β and 175" long without the approach ramps, or 207" with them. Drive-thru width is 102.5".
What hydraulic fluid does it use?
AW-32 or ISO-32 hydraulic oil. The reservoir holds approximately 12 quarts, per the installation manual.
How does it ship, and do I have to unload it?
It ships on an LTL common-carrier 48-foot semi at 1,600 lbs, and you are responsible for unloading β the driver does not unload it and lift-gate delivery is not available for auto lifts. You will need a forklift, Bobcat, tractor, tow truck, or backhoe, or the lift can be routed to the carrier's nearest freight terminal for pickup.
