How the lift operates

Lifting is by direct-drive cylinders, so there are no chains or screw drives in the load path and fewer wear items to adjust over time. Lock release is single point: one control disengages both columns in sync instead of making you walk the vehicle to release each side. An electrical override with automatic safety shut-off protects against over-travel, with the shut-off bar positioned across the overhead crossbar where a tall vehicle contacts it first. Full travel takes 40 seconds, from a 7" lowered arm height to a 72" maximum lifting height.
