Pump and Drive

100% cast iron pump — crankcase, cylinders, heads, connecting rods, crankshaft, and high-pressure pistons — rated for an estimated 70,000-hour service life.

Pressure-lubricated design with a gear-driven oil pump, rifle-drilled crankshaft and rods, spin-on oil filter, adjustable oil pressure regulator, and a liquid-filled pressure gauge.

CNC-machined disc valves and a four-ring piston design for sealing and reduced oil carryover.

20-inch cast iron flywheel driven by dual B-style V-belts with a dual-bolt tensioner for stable belt adjustment.

Patented Silent Air intake silencer reduces noise versus a comparable open compressor while keeping the pump accessible for service.

Configured for continuous-run duty with a head unloader, appropriate for duty cycles of 40% or higher (rated 60% duty cycle).

Installation and Power

The unit requires 208–230V three-phase electrical service; the motor draws 20.47 full-load amps with 132 locked-rotor amps, and EMAX specifies a 40-amp breaker.
