The EMAX Silent Air Industrial ES07V080V1 is a 7.5-horsepower, two-stage stationary air compressor built around an 80-gallon vertical tank and a 100% cast-iron pump. It produces 31 CFM at 100 PSI and 26 CFM at its 175 PSI maximum, making it suited for shops running impact tools, sanders, grinders, plasma cutters, and other continuous-duty equipment on a single-phase electrical service.

Engineering Highlights

Patented SilentAir noise-suppression system uses baffle plates and high-capacity filter media to reduce intake noise to at or below conversational volume, while also acting as an intake filter.

Pressure-lubrication pump pushes oil to every bearing point the way an automotive engine does, with gun-drilled crankshaft and connecting rods, a spin-on oil filter, a liquid-filled oil pressure gauge, a bleeder valve for priming, and an adjustable pressure regulator.

100% cast-iron pump construction (crankcase, cylinders, heads, connecting rods, crankshaft, high-pressure piston) with CNC-machined, precision-honed cylinders and deep cooling fins for heat dissipation.

Four-ring pistons combine two oil-control rings and two compression rings; the high-pressure piston is cast iron while the lighter-duty low-pressure piston is aluminum. Cast-iron connecting rods use replaceable bearing inserts and wrist pins for rebuildability.

20-inch cast-iron flywheel with nine cooling fins drives two B-groove V-belts, spreading load for quieter, longer-lasting operation.

CNC-machined, surface-ground disc valves allow quick inspection and reinstallation without a full valve rebuild.

Power and Installation

This unit runs on 230V single-phase power and requires a dedicated 50-amp breaker. Full-load amperage is 38.9 A with a 1.15 service factor. A factory-installed magnetic motor starter and vibration isolator pads are included, and the tank is ETL-listed with an ASME-certified air receiver.
