Vovlift's lifting solutions cover powered access: drivable scissor lifts, tracked spider lifts, rough terrain scissor lifts and vertical mast lifting work platforms from Ballymore, IMER, EKKO, Vestil, AMGO, GNT and Katool. Heights run from compact 19 ft platforms up to the 75 ft IMER IM R 23 spider lift, with prices from $3,446 to $177,650. Sort by the three things that actually narrow the field — working height, platform capacity, and whether the machine has to cross a finished floor or broken ground — then confirm power source and transport weight before you order.

Every lifting solution on this page answers the same three questions in a different way: how high the platform has to go, how much weight it has to carry, and what it has to travel over to get there. Working heights in this collection run from about 19 ft on compact electric platforms up to 75 ft on tracked spider lifts, and the units that publish a platform capacity fall between 500 lb and 1,000 lb. Prices span $3,446 to $177,650, and that spread is driven far more by height, drive system and terrain capability than by brand. Specify height first, measuring to the highest work point rather than to the ceiling, then confirm the deck will still carry the operator, tools and material once it is up there. Rated capacity covers everything on the platform at once, and reach accessories such as a jib normally reduce what the platform can carry when extended.
A scissor lift raises a wide deck straight up on a folding linkage, which makes it the practical pick when two people plus material need to work at height on a reasonably flat surface. A vertical mast lift raises a small platform on a telescoping column, giving up deck area and capacity in exchange for a footprint that fits through doorways and between racks. Articulated and telescopic spider lifts trade deck size for reach: they travel on rubber tracks, set down on outriggers, and place one operator out over obstacles a scissor lift cannot get near. The IMER 1128633 IM R 23 reaches 75 ft of working height with up to 39 ft of horizontal outreach on automatic leveling outriggers, while the IMER 1128632 pairs 355 degree non-continuous turret rotation and a 124 degree jib motion with a 510 lb platform capacity.
| Type | Catalog example | Height | Best suited to |
|---|---|---|---|
| Mini scissor lift | Ballymore DMSL-19C | 19 ft platform height | Narrow aisles, finished floors, low ceilings |
| Drivable scissor lift | Ballymore DSL-32 | 32 ft platform height, 1,000 lb | Two-person indoor maintenance with material |
| Rough terrain scissor lift | IMER 1128715 IM 8756 RT E | 62 ft working height | Outdoor slab and site work, 4WD, 33 in. tires |
| Tracked spider lift | IMER 1128772 IM R 19 Li | 62 ft working, 32 ft side reach | Obstructed access, uneven ground, atriums |
| Vertical mast lift | Ballymore DVML-16AE | 15 ft 5 in. platform height, 500 lb | Single-operator overhead trades |
| Electric work platform | EKKO ES120E-LI | 39 ft lift height | Multi-shift indoor lithium duty |
Power source is usually the second decision and it is where duty cycle matters most. Lithium machines such as the IMER IM R 19 Li, the IMER IM R 15 DA Li and the EKKO -LI models accept opportunity charging between shifts and remove watering and equalizing from the maintenance routine, which suits facilities running two or three shifts. Conventional battery-electric units like the EKKO ES80E and ES100E cost less up front and are a reasonable fit for single-shift indoor work with an overnight charge window. Diesel is for sites without power and with real ground to cross: the IMER IM 8756 RT D runs a Yanmar diesel through hydraulic four-wheel drive with an oscillating front axle. Bi-energy sits between the two — the IMER 1128632 combines a Honda GX800 gasoline engine with an electric motor, so the same machine can work outdoors under engine power and indoors on electric.
Indoor and outdoor machines are not interchangeable, and treating them as such is the most expensive mistake in this category. Slab machines have small non-marking wheels, tight turning circles and no outriggers, and they can be driven at height on level ground within the manufacturer's limits. Rough terrain units such as the IMER IM 8756 RT E carry 33 in. tires, four-wheel hydraulic drive and automatic leveling jacks, and they are wider and heavier as a result. Tracked spider lifts split the difference: hydraulically adjustable track width lets the undercarriage narrow to pass a doorway, then widen for stability once inside. Before any of these enters a building, check the door and elevator openings, the floor loading rating, and the transport weight — the IMER 1128632 is listed at 6,525 lbs in gas configuration, which is a real question for a mezzanine or a parking structure.
OSHA 29 CFR 1926.453 covers aerial lifts on construction sites and limits operation to trained and authorized persons; it also requires occupants of boom-supported platforms to wear a body belt with a lanyard attached to the boom or basket. OSHA classifies scissor lifts as mobile scaffolds rather than aerial lifts, so the scaffold requirements in 29 CFR 1926.451 apply to them on construction work. On the consensus side, ANSI/SAIA A92.20 covers design and manufacture of mobile elevating work platforms, A92.22 covers safe use including site risk assessment and a written rescue plan, and A92.24 covers operator, supervisor and occupant training plus familiarization on the specific model being used. Familiarization is model-specific, so a crew trained on a drivable scissor lift is not automatically qualified on a tracked spider lift.
The most common error is specifying to platform height when the job needs working height, or the reverse. The Ballymore DMSL-26W lists 26 ft platform height and 32 ft working height; the IMER IM R 23 lists 68 ft platform height and 75 ft working height. Quote the number your job actually requires and check which one the spec sheet is giving you. The second error is buying maximum height and discovering the capacity fell with it — within a single family, taller usually means less rated load, which is why the Ballymore DSL-45 lists 500 lb at 45 ft while the DSL-32 lists 1,000 lb at 32 ft. The third is planning the lift but not the delivery: freight, unloading, gate and door widths, and where the machine charges or refuels all need answers before the purchase order, not after the truck arrives.
