FAQ about this model
How much weight can the AMSVL100 lift?
It lifts up to 2200 lbs (1000 kg). That is the maximum rated capacity with all four suction cups engaged, so the slab must be within that weight and large enough for every pad to seat on a clean, smooth, non-porous face. Compare the rating against your heaviest slab, not your average one, before ordering.
What power does it need to run?
It runs on compressed air supplied from your facility. There is no onboard pump, so you need an air line reaching wherever you plan to lift. The only battery in the system is a 9V pin-powered cell for the alarm. If your shop or job site has no compressed air available at the lifting point, this model will not work for you.
Can it rotate a slab between flat and upright?
Yes. The suction cups have a 90 degree tilt range, which covers the full move between horizontal and vertical. That lets you pick a slab flat off a saw table or bench and bring it upright for a rack or an install position, or take a vertical slab back down to flat, without setting it down and re-rigging in between.
What is the alarm system and how is it powered?
The lifter has an audible and visual alarm powered by a 9V pin-powered battery. Warnings come through as both sound and light, so an operator in a noisy fabrication shop still gets a signal they can see. Because the alarm runs on its own battery rather than the air supply, testing it and keeping a spare 9V cell should be part of your pre-shift routine.
What comes with the lifter?
A transport and storage trolley is included. It gives the unit a defined place to sit between lifts instead of on the floor or on a slab, and it lets one person move the lifter around the shop. The compressed air supply comes from your facility and is not part of the package.
Who is this lifter suited to, and who should look elsewhere?
It is built for heavy-duty stone slabs, which makes it a fit for fabrication shops and installers handling countertops, panels, and similar large flat stone. Four cups spread the grip across the slab face. It is not the right tool for irregular, porous, or heavily textured pieces that will not hold vacuum, or for anything above the 2200 lbs (1000 kg) rating.
