Vestil Fork Extensions with Side Brackets For Load Straps

Lifting long, large items with standard forks can be difficult and dangerous. To ease those burdens looks for a pair of Vestil fork extensions, with tie down load rails. Let us explain the benefit of this unique style.

From time to time securing items with tie downs is next to impossible. Fork extensions routinely have a smooth exterior with no built-in point to connect straps or other safety equipment. With Vestil's alternative design you will find tie down rails evenly spaced throughout the extension, giving the user the ability to pick and choose the best place to secure the load.

Not only that, but the multiple rail feature eliminates the changes of the tie down slipping or sliding beyond each segment OSHA regulations require that extensions are no more than one hundred and fifty (150) percent of the existing fork length. Cast steel tips 5/16" Welded steel 4-1/2" usable fork width HOW TO USE / INSTALLATION Remove pin and lay extension over fork or drive fork truck into the extension. Re-insert the pin behind the heel of the fork to secure extension.

Currently this design is only available in 'pin style'. To be used with class 2 and class 3 forks only Check Out Vestil's Other Fork Extension Styles: Loop-Style Fork Extensions High Strength Fork Extensions . Pin-Style Fork Extensions

FAQ about this model

What sizes of fork extensions are available?

Nine models are offered, in widths of 4", 5", or 6" and lengths of 72", 84", or 96". For example, the FE-4-72-P-LR is 4" wide by 72" long, while the largest, FE-6-96-P-LR, is 6" wide by 96" long. Pick the length and width based on your forklift's existing fork dimensions and the load you need to support.

How do these extensions attach to the forklift forks?

They use a pin-style design with side brackets built for load straps (the "P-LR" in the model number stands for Pin, Load Rails). The side brackets let you run straps to secure loads that would otherwise slide off standard extensions, such as long or irregularly shaped material.

Why does the price range from $603.96 to $839.09?

Price scales with size. The smallest model, FE-4-72-P-LR (4"×72"), is $603.96, and the largest, FE-6-96-P-LR (6"×96"), is $839.09. Wider and longer extensions use more steel and cost more, so choose the smallest size that still covers your load length and width requirements.

Where are these fork extensions made, and what's the warranty?

They're made in the USA by Vestil Manufacturing and come with a 1-year limited warranty. All 9 models share these same origin and warranty terms regardless of size.

How do I know which of the 9 models is right for my application?

Match the width and length to your current forks and load. Widths run 4", 5", or 6" and lengths run 72", 84", or 96"; for instance, FE-5-84-P-LR is 5" wide and 84" long. If your load needs strap tie-down points beyond what standard extensions offer, any of these pin-style, load-rail models will provide that, differing only in size and price.
