What load capacities do these spreader beams come in?

How do I choose between a short and a long beam?
Match the spread to the pick points on your load, not to the load's overall size. The beam should place the sling legs close to vertical above the lifting points so it takes the horizontal compression instead of your slings. Longer beams suit wide crates, bundled pipe and machinery skids; shorter beams handle compact loads in tight bays.
Do these require any power or hookup?
No. A spreader beam is a passive below-the-hook device — there is no electrical, hydraulic or pneumatic connection. It hangs from your crane or hoist hook at the top bail, with slings or shackles rigged to the end fittings.
