FAQ about this model
How much can the EP25E-Li lift, and at what load center?
It carries 5500 lbs at a 24 in load center. That rating assumes the load's center of gravity sits 24 in from the fork face, so long, deep or unevenly stacked pallets shift weight further out and reduce what the truck can safely handle. Weigh your heaviest routine pallet against the 5500 lbs figure before ordering.
Will the forks fit my pallets?
Fork size is 2 in thick, 6 in wide and 48 in long, with an outside fork distance of 27 in. Lowered fork height is 3.33 in, so the forks need entry openings at least that tall, and listed lifting height is 7.9 in. Compare those three numbers — 48 in length, 27 in outside spread, 3.33 in entry — to the pallets you actually run.
How much space does it need to maneuver?
Overall length is 71.2 in, overall width is 27.5 in, wheel base is 53 in and turning radius is 60 in. Use the 60 in turning radius as your starting point when checking aisles, dock doors and trailer interiors. Because it is walk-behind, allow working room for the operator behind the 71.2 in body length as well.
What are the power and charging requirements?
It runs on a 24 V, 150 Ah lithium battery, and the specifications list a 24 V / 50 A charger. The drive motor is 1.3 kW with AC motor speed control, and the lift motor is 0.8 kW. Charging time and required outlet type are not stated in the product data, so confirm both with us before you plan a charging area.
Can it handle ramps and dock plates?
Rated gradient performance is 8% laden and 15% unladen, so loaded ramp work is limited to gentle slopes. The brake type is electromagnetic rather than hydraulic. Service weight with battery is 1010 lbs, and your load adds to that, so check the combined figure against the rated limits of any dock plate, lift gate or mezzanine floor.
Who is this truck for, and what will it not do?
It suits warehouse, distribution, loading dock and retail backroom work — moving heavy pallets across flat floors day to day. Operation is walk-behind with tiller control, and noise at the operator position is 68 dB(A). It is not a stacker: lifting height is 7.9 in, so it cannot place loads into racking. OSHA classifies powered pallet trucks as powered industrial trucks and requires operator training.
