Product Overview
In short
The Triumph NSP-30 is a 30 ton heavy duty air driven shop press. It measures 26 between the uprights, sits on a 38 wide x 24 long base and stands 75" tall overall.

What the NSP-30 is

The NSP-30 is a 30 ton air driven shop press built for general shop work. Air drive means the pressing stroke is powered by your shop's compressed air rather than by hand pumping, so repeated pressing jobs take less operator effort than a manual press of the same tonnage. The manufacturer describes it as heavy duty and suitable for any shop, which places it in the general-service tier rather than the light hobby tier. Thirty tons of force covers the pressing work most independent shops see day to day. The source material published for this unit is short, so the specifications listed on this page are only those the manufacturer states. Anything not listed here, we do not claim.

Footprint and overhead clearance

The base measures 38 wide by 24 long, and overall height is 75". Plan your floor space around those base numbers plus room to stand at the front of the press and room behind it if you ever load long stock. At 75" the press clears a standard eight-foot ceiling, but check for lights, door tracks, hose reels and ductwork directly above the spot you pick, since the top of the frame is where the working mechanism sits. The measurement between the uprights is 26, and that is the figure that decides what physically fits inside the frame. Measure the widest point of the parts you press most often and compare it against 26 before you order.

Air supply and setup

This press is air driven, so it needs a compressed air supply at the workstation. The manufacturer listing does not state a required operating pressure, CFM draw or inlet fitting size, so confirm those with us before you plumb a drop to the press location. If your shop already runs air tools from a fixed line, you most likely have the infrastructure in place; a small portable compressor is a different question and worth asking about first. No electrical requirement is listed for this unit. Position the press so an air line reaches it without stretching a hose across a walkway, and keep the supply line out of the pressing area itself.

What the listing does and does not cover

The published specifications for the NSP-30 are the four the manufacturer prints: capacity, the measurement between uprights, the base measurement and the overall height. The listing does not publish a ram stroke, working height range, bed or table details, gauge, shipping weight or included accessories. We would rather leave those blank than guess at them, so if any of those figures decides your purchase, ask and we will get the answer from the manufacturer before you commit. The source also does not say how the press arrives or what assembly is involved, so treat assembly, freight handling and unloading as open questions to confirm with us rather than assumptions to make.

FAQ about this model

What is the capacity of the Triumph NSP-30?
It is rated at 30 ton. The manufacturer does not publish an equivalent pound figure, so we do not list one.

How wide is the opening between the uprights?
The measurement between uprights is 26. Compare that against the widest point of the parts you press before ordering.

How much floor space does the NSP-30 need?
The base measures 38 wide by 24 long. Add working room at the front, and room behind the press if you plan to load long stock.

Will it fit under an 8-foot ceiling?
Overall height is 75", so it clears a standard eight-foot ceiling. Check for lights, ductwork, hose reels and door tracks above your chosen spot.

Does the NSP-30 need electricity?
The listing specifies air driven operation and does not list any electrical requirement. You will need a compressed air supply at the press location.

What air pressure and CFM does it require?
The manufacturer listing does not publish an operating pressure, CFM draw or inlet size. Contact us and we will confirm with the manufacturer before you plumb an air drop.

What is the ram stroke or working height range?
Neither figure is published for this model. We do not estimate specifications that the manufacturer has not stated.

Does it come assembled, and what is included?
The source listing does not state how the press ships or what accessories are included. Ask us before ordering if either matters to your setup.
