High Strength Steel Self-Dumping Hoppers for Heavy Scrap Handling High strength steel self-dumping hoppers are built for demanding scrap, waste, and bulk material handling applications where standard hoppers may be exposed to heavy impact. Designed for machine shops, fabrication facilities, foundries, glass handling, construction sites, and industrial waste collection areas, these hoppers provide added resistance to dents and punctures from dropped metal, stone, glass, and other abrasive materials. 100,000 PSI Yield Strength and 110,000 PSI Tensile Strength vs 36,000 PSI Yield Strength on standard hoppers!

High Strength Hopper Construction The high strength steel design offers 100,000 PSI yield strength and 110,000 PSI tensile strength, providing greater impact resistance than standard hopper material. Rugged welded construction, a blue powder-coated finish, and galvanized base components support long service life in harsh work environments. Self-Dumping Forklift Operation H-style models feature a full 90 degree dump angle, low profile front edge, and cable-operated dumping from the forklift seat.

The hopper returns to an upright and locked position when lowered to the ground. D-style models include bumper release dumping for automatic discharge when contacting the front of a dumpster, along with manual cable operation. How is high strength steel different from a standard hopper?

The high strength steel offers 100,000 PSI yield strength and 110,000 PSI tensile strength, versus 36,000 PSI yield strength on standard hoppers, for greater resistance to dents and punctures.

How does the hopper dump?

These H-style models have a full 90 degree dump angle and a low profile front edge, and are dumped with a cable from the forklift seat. The hopper returns to an upright, locked position when lowered to the ground.
