FAQ about this model

What weight capacities are available for the Vestil Electric/Hydraulic Box Dumper?

The HBD line covers a capacity range of 2,000 – 6,000 lb across the model lineup. Model numbers indicate capacity class, so you can match the dumper to your load weight before ordering. Check the specific model number for its rated capacity within that range.

What dump heights are offered?

Dump heights come in 36, 48, and 60 inch versions, shown in the model number (for example HBD-2-36, HBD-2-48, HBD-2-60). The same three height options repeat across each capacity class, so pick the model matching both your required capacity and the height you need to dump into.

What is included with the base unit versus optional add-ons?

The base HBD unit is electric/hydraulic powered; options sold separately include a gate kit at 36, 48, or 60 inch dump height (HBD-GATE-36, HBD-GATE-48, HBD-GATE-60), a radio remote control (RRC-2PB), a point-of-purchase foot control upgrade (FC-2), a safety light curtain (HBD-SLC), and extended-duty power for the 6,000 lb model (HBD-PU-X).

Is a safety light curtain available, and does it add cost?

Yes, the HBD-SLC safety light curtain is an add-on option priced at $5,996.92, separate from the base dumper price. It's listed as an accessory rather than a standard feature, so it must be specified and purchased in addition to the unit itself.

Who is this dumper suited for, and what's the warranty?

It suits operations handling loads between 2,000 and 6,000 lb that need to dump contents at a fixed height of 36, 48, or 60 inches. Vestil backs the HBD line with a 1-Year Limited warranty and manufactures it in the USA.

What does pricing look like across the model range?

Base units range from $7,482.40 for the smallest 2,000 lb, 36 inch dump height model up to $10,672.24 for the 6,000 lb, 60 inch model. Add-on options like the FC-2 pedal upgrade at $227.53 or the RRC-2PB remote at $1,527.01 are priced separately.
