Designed for loading docks that require superior environmental control, these systems help reduce energy loss, block weather intrusion, and improve protection for personnel, products, and equipment during loading and unloading operations. By combining foam-compression side seals with a sheltered header design, they create an effective barrier around trailer openings while accommodating a range of vehicle sizes.

Key Features & Benefits The unique hybrid design maximizes contact with trailers to minimize air infiltration, helping facilities reduce heating and cooling costs throughout the year. High-density foam side pads compress against trailer bodies to form a dependable seal, while the sloped header promotes water runoff and protects dock openings from rain, snow, and debris. Durable vinyl-coated fabric, treated lumber construction, and aluminum trim provide long-lasting performance in demanding warehouse and distribution environments.

Built-in air relief channels help maintain seal integrity while reducing wear during trailer engagement. Applications Ideal for warehouses, distribution centers, manufacturing facilities, food processing operations, and logistics terminals, these dock seal and shelter combinations improve dock efficiency while protecting valuable inventory from outdoor conditions. They are especially beneficial where energy conservation and environmental control are operational priorities.

Configurations & Options Multiple projection depths are available to accommodate varying dock configurations and trailer applications. Optional armor pleats, guide strips, sloped verticals, additional flaps, reinforced fabric upgrades, bottom foam pads, and repair kits allow facilities to customize protection levels and extend service life for demanding loading dock operations. The Dock Seal/Shelter Combination is used with a 96"W x 120"H door.

The top header is constructed of wolmanized lumber and is built with a slope to allow for water run-off. Header measures 114"W with a 30"L drop curtain. Side (verticals) measure 120" tall and contain high density foam mounted to treated lumber.

Two door sizes: 8×8 and 8×9. The D-150 series is built for 8×8 doors and the D-350 series for 8×9 doors, across 27 models in total. Both series are dock seal/shelter combinations from Vestil. If your opening is a different size, these models will not fit as listed, so measure your door before ordering.

What projection depths are available?

Projections run from 10 inches to 20 inches in 1-inch steps. The same range applies to both series: D-150-10 through D-150-20 for 8×8 doors, and D-350-10 through D-350-20 for 8×9 doors. Deeper projection raises the price — the 10-inch D-150-10 is $1,008.33, while the 20-inch D-150-20 is $1,393.51.
