Hopper automatically dumps when bumper release contacts the front of the dumpster. Hopper returns to an upright and locked position automatically after it dumps. Also includes a cable that may be operated from the seat of the fork truck to manually dump the hopper.

A safety restraint is provided to secure the hopper to the fork truck. Usable fork pockets are 7-1/2"W x 2-1/2"H. Self-dumping hoppers facilitate compliance with OSHA General Industry rule 29 CFR 1910.178(m)(5)(iii) by allowing lift truck operators to remain at the controls of their truck throughout the dumping process.

Optional leak proof design sold separately. D-25, D-33, D-50, D-75, and D-100 are stackable if you stack the top hopper turned 90 degrees from the bottom. Blue baked-in powder-coated toughness is standard.

Must be attached to fork truck when dumping NOTE: Hopper Use Prohibitions Hopper(s) must not be used by rough terrain lift trucks or telehandlers (boom trucks). ONLY use this hopper with high lift fork trucks having a vertical mast and carriage. Hoppers must not be mounted on stackers or on manually operated or propelled lift trucks.

While a hopper is mounted on the forks of a high lift truck, only operate the truck on concrete or asphalt surfaces DO NOT operate the truck carrying this hopper on unimproved surfaces. How does the bumper release work?

The bumper release lets the operator dump the hopper without leaving the forklift seat. Driving the hopper's bumper against a dumpster edge, wall or other fixed object trips the release, the body tips forward and empties, then it returns and relatches when raised. That keeps the operator in the seat through the dump cycle.

Are side extensions included, and what do they cost?

Side extensions are sold separately, not included with the hopper. The D-250 series side extensions (D-250-EXT-SMY) are $283.18 and the D-300 series side extensions (D-300-EXT-SMY) are $301.29. Order the extension that matches your hopper series. Extensions add usable height for light, bulky material that fills the box before it reaches the weight rating.

How long will it take for my order to ship? When will I receive it?
