What do the steel safety curbs do?
The curbs run along the sides of the deck to help keep forklift wheels from running off the edge during a crossing. The deck is aluminum and the curbs are steel. OSHA rules for dockboards call for them to be secured in position while in use, so treat the curbs as a wheel guide rather than a substitute for correct placement.
