What does this vibrating screen actually do?

It filters out debris larger than 5/16" before material enters the pump. The vibrating action keeps usable material moving through the screen while oversized pieces stay on top. Its purpose is to prevent large debris from reaching the stator and screw, the components that move material through the pump. Anything smaller than the screen opening passes through normally.

Which pump does it fit?

The IMER Mighty Small 50 pump. This is the factory optional vibrating screen for that machine, SKU 1107548, so it is matched to the pump's hopper and its power outlet. We cannot confirm fit on other IMER models or on other brands of pump or mixer. If you run a different machine, confirm compatibility before ordering.

How is it installed and powered?

It plugs directly into the allotted outlet on the pump, so no separate power source or added wiring is required. The Mighty Small 50 supplies power to the vibrator through that outlet. Because the connection point is built into the machine, setup is a matter of placing the screen on the hopper and plugging it in.

How is the vibrator controlled during use?

Through an on/off switch. You can run the vibrator while pumping to keep material working through the screen, then switch it off when it is not needed, such as during loading or idle periods. The control is on/off only — no variable speed or timer setting is listed for this unit.

Is the screen included when I buy the pump?

No. It is an optional accessory ordered separately under SKU 1107548. It suits crews whose material may contain oversized aggregate, lumps, or bag debris that would otherwise reach the stator and screw. If your material is consistently fine and already screened, you may not need it, though it still adds a barrier at the hopper.
