FAQ about this model
What blade sizes and thicknesses are available?
Three diameters are offered: 14", 20" and 30". The 14" is a .125 Silent Core for Stone blade, while the 20" and 30" are .165 stone cutting blades. All three are listed under model IMER 1193954, so specify the diameter you need when ordering. Match the diameter to the cut depth and the saw you are running.
What materials can these blades cut?
They are rated for block, brick, stone, refractory, ceramic and quartz. The blades use diamond segments, which is what allows them to work in hard and abrasive material rather than the softer material a general-purpose blade handles. If your material is not on that list, confirm suitability before ordering rather than assuming coverage.
What does the Silent Core do?
The core technology is listed as Silent Core, which reduces vibration and noise during cutting. The 14" size is specifically described as a Silent Core for Stone blade. Lower vibration is generally an advantage on hard, brittle material such as stone and quartz, and reduced noise matters for indoor fabrication and enclosed job sites.
Which diameter should I choose?
Choose by cut depth and by the largest blade your saw accepts. The 30" gives the deepest cut of the three, the 20" sits in the middle, and the 14" is the smallest. The 14" is also the thinnest at .125, versus .165 on the 20" and 30", so it removes less material per pass.
Will these fit my saw?
That depends on your saw, and the specifications here do not list an arbor size or a required saw model. Check your saw's maximum blade diameter and its arbor before selecting a size, since a 30" blade will not run on a machine built for smaller diameters. Confirm arbor compatibility with us before ordering if you are unsure.
