The IMER 1188180 Combicut Tile & Stone Saw is a heavy-duty wet cutting system that was developed specifically to provide users with clean, chip-free cuts in tile, stone, porcelain, and other masonry products. Equipped with a 10″ continuous rim porcelain blade and powered by a 1.75 horsepower, 110 volt single phase motor, the Combicut provides users with consistent, smooth cutting results at a blade speed of approximately 2800 RPM. The laser guide and the precision water valve help to ensure that the user has straight, accurate cuts; and the high flow water pump helps to keep the blade cool and debris free as the user makes cuts over an extended period of time. The saw features an adjustable cutting head that can be tilted up to 45 degrees for making angled cuts, and the saw also includes a 180 degree protractor for making miter cuts. The saw is mounted on a durable, foldable stand that comes equipped with a wheel kit and a side table that supports large format tiles. What is the largest tile this saw can cut?

It handles tile up to 40 inches, with a maximum cutting length of 57 inches and plunge cuts up to 60 inches. Maximum cutting depth is 3 ¾ inches, so it also takes thicker stone and pavers, not just tile. Measure your largest piece against those three figures before ordering, since length and depth limit different jobs.

What power supply does it need?

It runs on 110V single phase and draws 15A, driven by a 1.75 HP motor. That means a standard 15A circuit, with no three-phase supply or transformer required on site. Because the saw can draw the full 15A, give it its own circuit rather than sharing with other tools on the same line.

Can it make miter and bevel cuts?

Yes. The cutting head tilts up to 45 degrees for bevel cuts, and a 180 degree protractor sets miter angles on the table. Between the two you can produce straight, mitered and bevelled edges for trim, inside corners and countertop work without moving the piece to a second machine.

What blade does it take, and how is it cooled?

It is built around a 10 inch continuous rim porcelain blade running at roughly 2800 RPM. A water pump feeds 3 gallons per minute to the cut, cooling the blade and keeping dust down. Keep the reservoir filled and the water reasonably clean, since running dry shortens blade life and slurry builds up in the pump.

How easy is it to move between jobs?

The stand folds and comes with a wheel kit and a side table, so one person can roll the saw into position and collapse it for transport. The saw body is precision cast aluminum, a rigid casting that keeps the head and rail in alignment through repeated setup and teardown on site.

Who is this saw suited to, and who should look elsewhere?

It suits tile and stone contractors cutting large-format porcelain and fitters who need mitered edges on site. Look elsewhere if you regularly cut tile over 40 inches, need depth beyond 3 ¾ inches, or work where 110V single-phase power is not available. Continuous shop production may be better served by a larger fixed saw.
