The IMER 1106152 Spin 30 Plus Mixer is designed as a heavy duty continuous mixer for professional users that require a lot of continuous mixing power at their job site. The mixer uses a 3 hp single phase motor to provide a lot of torque and reliability in order to mix large quantities of premixed mortars, stuccos, grouts, self leveling underlayment and floor screed. The large 500 lb hopper and the rate of approximately 1 cu ft/min allows for fast batching and less down time. The oversized wheels, the standard water pump, dust grate and the flow meter ensure a cleaner, more consistent product and allow for easy movement around the job site. The rugged build and ease of use of the Spin 30 Plus makes it the perfect machine for high volume applications.

What is the mixing capacity, and how fast does it mix?

The hopper holds 500 lbs and the machine mixes at 1 cu ft per minute. IMER rates it at six 80-lb bags in under three minutes, so batch turnaround is short enough to keep a pump or a crew supplied without waiting on the mixer. Real-world output still depends on your mix design and how quickly the hopper is charged.

What power supply does it need?

It needs 220V single-phase power, driving a 3 hp motor. That means a standard single-phase 220V circuit or a generator with equivalent output, not three-phase service. Confirm your outlet, cord run and generator capacity before delivery. The specifications do not list amp draw, so check the machine's data plate for the exact current requirement on your circuit.

How much space does it take up, and can one person move it?

It measures 71" long x 25" wide x 46" high and weighs 281 lbs, or 292 lbs with packing. The 25-inch width is usually the number that matters for gates, doorways and truck ramps. A water pump, a flow meter and the iDUST dust grate are included as standard features, along with the oversized solid rubber wheels. The flow meter lets you repeat the same water ratio batch to batch instead of judging by eye, and the grate is where bags are cut and emptied. Nothing beyond these listed items is included.

What maintenance does the drive require?

The gearbox is a maintenance-free parallel axis unit, so there is no routine gear service on the drive itself. Day-to-day upkeep is cleaning: wash out the hopper and grate before material sets up, and keep the water pump and flow meter clear so the readings stay accurate. Who is this mixer for, and who should consider something else?

It suits contractors running bagged material in continuous batches where 220V single-phase power is available. The 500-lb hopper and 1 cu ft per minute output are sized to keep a pump or a working crew supplied. It is a poor fit if your site has only three-phase or household power, or if you need a mixer one person can load alone.
