FAQ about this model
How much can this hoist lift?
The HH-B10+T is rated at 1 ton, or 2,000 lbs. That rating applies to the hoist and trolley as a package, so your load plus all rigging — slings, hooks, spreader bars — has to stay under it. If your typical loads sit close to 2,000 lbs, step up to a larger capacity rather than running at the limit every cycle.
What power supply does it need?
It runs on single-phase power and comes factory-wired for 115v. The unit is dual voltage and can be adjusted to 230v, so you are not locked into the shipped configuration. Because it is single-phase, no three-phase service is required, which suits smaller shops and service bays. Confirm circuit sizing and disconnect requirements with your electrician before installation.
How much headroom does it require?
Combined headroom is 28 inches with the hoist mounted to the trolley. That is the vertical space taken up between the beam and the hook at its highest position, so subtract it from your beam height to work out actual usable lift. In low-ceiling bays, this figure usually decides whether the unit fits at all.
How much does it weigh, and what does my beam need to carry?
Combined weight is 256 lbs for the hoist and trolley together. Add that to the 2,000 lb rated load when you check what your runway beam or support structure must support. The specifications do not list a beam flange width or profile, so verify trolley fit and beam capacity against the beam's own documentation or with a structural engineer.
Can it be used outdoors or in a cold environment?
It is rated for operating temperatures from -4° to +104° F and humidity of 85% or less. That covers unheated warehouses and cold docks at the low end, but not sustained high heat or damp, high-humidity conditions. The specifications list no ingress or washdown rating, so plan on indoor or covered installation rather than open outdoor exposure.
What warranty is included?
The hoist and trolley carry a 12-month warranty from Bison Lifting. The specifications do not detail what the warranty covers or how claims are processed, so request the written terms before ordering. Pricing starts at $6,052 for the HH-B10+T, which is supplied as a hoist and trolley combination rather than as separate components.
