The lithium battery also allows the GFC150 to charge quickly, and it will continue to operate at a constant rate. The ride on design of the GFC150 allows the operator to be comfortable while operating it, as well as increases the operators’ ability to complete their tasks efficiently. Therefore, the GFC150 is suitable for large area cleaning applications in such places as: warehouses; shopping malls; airports; factories; and hospitals. How much floor can the GFC150 clean, and how wide is each pass?

The cleaning width is 860 mm and the squeegee width is 1150 mm, with a rated work efficiency of 6000 m² per hour. The squeegee is wider than the scrub path, so water is picked up on turns as well as straight runs. Compare the 6000 m²/h figure against your total floor area to estimate how many passes a shift requires.

How long does it run on a charge, and how long does it take to recharge?

Working time is 3–4 hours per charge from a 24V 150Ah lithium battery, and charging takes 6–8 hours. That means one charge will not cover two back-to-back shifts without a break, so plan on charging overnight or during downtime. Where you land in the 3–4 hour range depends on how hard the brush and suction motors are working.

What are the tank capacities, and how often will I need to stop?

The clean water tank holds 150 L and the recovery tank holds 170–180 L. Because the recovery tank is larger than the solution tank, it will not fill up before the clean water runs out. Your stop interval is set by the 150 L solution tank: the faster you cover ground at the rated 6000 m²/h, the sooner you refill and dump.

Will it fit through my aisles and doorways?

The machine measures 1680 × 1240 × 1400 mm (L × W × H) and has a net weight of 230 kg. Check the 1240 mm width against your narrowest doorway and aisle, and the 1400 mm height against any low clearance such as racking or roller shutters. The 230 kg figure is the dry machine — add the weight of water when assessing ramps or lifts.

How is it powered and driven?

It is a ride-on scrubber with a 24V 1000W driving motor, so the operator rides rather than pushes. Scrubbing is handled by two 24V 550W brush motors and water recovery by a 24V 650W suction motor. Everything runs from the 24V lithium battery pack, so there is no trailing mains cord or fuel to manage while working.

What kind of site is this machine right for?

It suits large, open hard floors — warehouse aisles, production areas, distribution centres and similar spaces where an operator can cover ground continuously. It is a poor fit for small or congested rooms: at 1680 mm long and 1240 mm wide it needs space to turn, and the 860 mm cleaning width gives no advantage where most of the time is spent manoeuvring.
