FAQ about this model
How much can this trolley lift?
Rated capacity is 2 Tons (4000 lbs). Treat that as the maximum total load on the trolley, so include the hoist, rigging, and any below-the-hook attachment when comparing it to your heaviest lift, not just the part being moved. The unit carries an H3 classification with a 25% duty cycle, so the rating assumes intermittent rather than constant use.
What power supply does it need?
It runs on 115V / 230V single phase, with a 24V control voltage at the pendant so the operator is not handling line voltage. A 15 ft power cord and a 17 ft pendant cord are supplied. Single phase means most shops can feed it from existing service rather than running three phase, but have an electrician confirm your circuit before installation.
What does the 25% duty cycle mean for my application?
It means the travel motor is designed to run about a quarter of a given period and rest for the remainder. Combined with the H3 classification, this suits intermittent positioning — moving a load into place, then stopping — rather than constant back-and-forth travel. If your line runs near-continuous cycles all shift, a higher duty rating is the better match.
How is it controlled and how does it stop?
Travel is controlled from a pendant rated IP65, meaning it is sealed against dust and water jets for use in wash-down or dusty areas. The pendant runs at 24V on a 17 ft cord. Stopping is handled by an electromagnetic load brake, which engages when the motor stops to hold the trolley in position. Contactors are Schneider brand.
Should I check anything about my beam before ordering?
Yes. The published specifications for this model cover capacity, power, duty and controls, but do not list beam flange width, thickness or minimum curve radius. Confirm your runway beam dimensions against the manufacturer's fitting data before you order, and check headroom and end-stop clearance in the bay where the trolley will run.
What warranty comes with it?
The trolley carries a 12 month warranty. The specification sheet does not detail what that warranty includes or how claims are processed, so ask for those terms in writing if they affect your decision. The SKU is HH-B20-T, which identifies this 2 Ton motorized configuration — quote it on any inquiry so you are priced on the correct unit.
