What load capacity does the Bison Lifting PT100 push trolley have?

It is rated for 10 tons (10,000 kg). That rating applies to the total suspended load, so the hoist, chain, rigging and any below-the-hook device you hang from it all count toward the figure. Confirm your combined weight stays under the rating, and never use the trolley to move a load heavier than it.

Does this trolley need electricity or compressed air?

No. It is a push/manual trolley, so an operator moves the load along the beam by hand. There is no motor, no electrical supply to run and no air line to plumb. That keeps installation simple and suits beams in areas without power nearby, but travel speed and the effort required depend on the operator.

Will it fit the beam in my building?

It mounts on I-beams and H-beams, and the side plates are adjustable so one trolley covers a range of flange sizes. The specifications do not publish that range, so measure your beam's flange width, flange thickness and any taper before ordering, then check those measurements against Bison Lifting's fitting data for model PT100.

What standard does the PT100 comply with?

It is built to comply with ASME B30.11, the American Society of Mechanical Engineers standard covering monorails and underhung cranes. That standard addresses construction, marking, inspection and safe operating practice for equipment running on a runway beam. Your own periodic inspection and operator training obligations are separate from the equipment and still apply.

What warranty is included, and what does the trolley cost?

It comes with a 12-month warranty from Bison Lifting, and pricing starts at $1,074. The published specifications state the warranty term only, not what the coverage includes, excludes or how a claim is processed. Request the written warranty document before purchase if those details affect your decision or your internal approval process.

Who is this push trolley suited to, and who should consider something else?

It suits operations moving heavy loads short distances along a fixed beam by hand, such as maintenance bays, fabrication cells and engine or die handling. It is a poorer fit where loads travel long distances, need repositioning many times per shift, or must move at a controlled speed. A geared or motorized trolley handles those jobs better.

Warranty

All Bison products are covered by a 12-month warranty from the date of shipment against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use. Bison will repair or replace defective parts at no charge (installation excluded). A return merchandise authorization (RMA) is required before returning any product; items must be shipped freight-prepaid with a written description of the issue. Items returned outside the warranty scope are subject to a 25% restocking fee. Returns are not accepted after 30 days from the date of shipment. Customized items are non-returnable.

How long will it take for my order to ship? When will I receive it?
Most orders are processed within 1-2 business days, starting the business day following the date the order was placed. Once dispatched, standard shipping typically takes an additional 1-5 business days (starting the business day after shipment).
