FAQ about this model
How much can the EB14C-118Li lift, and at what load center?
It is rated for 3,000 lbs at a 24-inch load center. That means the load's center of gravity must sit within 24 inches of the fork face; loads that are longer or hang further forward reduce effective capacity. The specification sheet lists one capacity figure and does not include a load chart showing capacity at reduced or maximum lift height.
What overhead clearance do I need for the 118-inch lift?
You need 118 inches of clear height to fully raise the forks, but the mast itself extends to 146.5 inches at full lift. When lowered for travel, the mast stands 85 inches tall, which is the figure to check against doorways, roller shutters and trailer openings. Forks come down to 2.6 inches off the floor.
Will it fit my pallets?
Forks are 45.3 inches long and 4 inches wide each, and fork spacing adjusts from 8.7 to 32.1 inches. The straddle legs adjust separately from 35.4 to 51.2 inches to sit outside the load. Measure your pallet entry openings and outside width against those two ranges before ordering, since both need to work for your pallet.
How is it powered and charged?
It uses a 24-volt lithium-ion battery with an onboard charger, so no separate external charger or battery-changing area is required. The lift motor is 2.2 kW, travel uses a DC drive motor, and a Curtis controller manages the system. The specifications do not state charge time, run time or shifts per charge.
How much aisle space does it need to work in?
Turning radius is 57.5 inches, overall length is 73.7 inches, and maximum overall width is 61 inches. Your aisle needs to clear those dimensions plus whatever overhangs the forks. The 61-inch figure applies with the straddle legs set to their widest 51.2-inch position, so narrowing the legs reduces the working footprint.
What operations is this stacker suited to, and where does it not fit?
It suits indoor work on smooth, level floors. The polyurethane wheels are intended for finished concrete, not gravel, broken asphalt or outdoor yards. Service weight is 1,430 lbs, which matters if you plan to run it onto a mezzanine, dock leveler or liftgate. The straddle-leg design also needs clear floor space on both sides of the load.
