FAQ about this model
What capacities are available, and which model do I need?
Capacity ranges from 2,000 to 6,000 lb across the four EHN models. The EHN-20-C is the 2,000 lb unit and the EHN-60-T is the 6,000 lb unit, with the EHN-40-C and EHN-40-T falling between them. Size the crane to the heaviest load you expect to lift, not your typical one.
What is the difference between the folding-leg and telescopic-leg models?
The legs are the main difference between the two styles. The EHN-20-C and EHN-40-C have folding legs, so the crane collapses down for storage when it is not in use. The EHN-40-T and EHN-60-T have telescopic legs, which extend and retract to change the leg span. Pick based on whether storage space or leg adjustability matters more in your shop.
How much do these engine hoists cost?
Prices run from $537.33 to $908.35 depending on model. The EHN-20-C is $537.33, the EHN-40-C is $609.29, the EHN-40-T is $646.13, and the EHN-60-T is $908.35. Those figures are for the hoist itself; freight, applicable taxes and any accessories are quoted separately and are not included in the listed price.
Where are they made, and is there a warranty?
Every EHN engine hoist is made in the USA by Vestil Manufacturing and carries a 1-Year Limited warranty. That warranty is the manufacturer's own, so coverage details, exclusions and the claims process are governed by Vestil's warranty documentation. Review those terms before purchase if warranty scope is a factor in your decision.
Who are these hoists suited for, and who should look elsewhere?
They suit garages, service bays and maintenance shops that lift engines and similar loads intermittently and can roll the crane to the load. They are floor-standing shop cranes, so they are not a substitute for an overhead or fixed-mount crane, and they are not intended for continuous production lifting or for suspending loads over people.
