Height range and shop clearance

The two-stage ram gives a 34" lowered height and a 68" raised height. That span is what defines where this jack fits in a shop. At 34" collapsed, the jack has to roll under a vehicle that is already up on a lift or otherwise held at least that high off the floor, so it is not a low-profile unit for work over jack stands or on a vehicle sitting on the ground. At the top of its stroke it reaches 68", which covers drivetrain work on trucks and vans held high on a two-post or four-post lift. Measure your working height at the transmission crossmember before ordering so you know the saddle lands where you need it.

Saddle, chains and load control

A transmission that shifts on the saddle at chest height is the main hazard in this job, and the NTJ-2 addresses it two ways. The saddle is fully adjustable, so it can be tilted and set to match the angle of the case before the last bellhousing bolts come out. Warranty

Triumph Limited Warranty. Triumph covers parts and product defects for one (1) year; labor is not included. Hydraulic cylinders carry a 30-day full warranty, after which a seal kit is supplied for cylinder service. Rubber lifting pads are not covered. The warranty applies to the original purchaser with proof of purchase.
