FAQ about this model

What lengths are available for the rug rams?

Lengths range from 48 inches to 144 inches, in increments of 48, 60, 96, 108, 120, and 144 inches. Both carriage-mount and fork-mounted versions come in these same length options, so you can match the pole length to the roll sizes you handle most often.

What's the difference between carriage mount, fork mounted, and fork mounted inverted styles?

Carriage mount units (CR series) attach directly to the forklift's carriage and are offered in Class 2 or Class 3 mounting. Fork mounted units (CRF series) slide onto the forks themselves. Fork mounted inverted units (CRP series) are also fork-mounted but in an inverted orientation. Choose based on how your lift truck is set up to receive attachments.

What is the difference between Class 2 and Class 3 carriage mount versions?

Class 2 and Class 3 refer to the carriage mounting classification of the forklift, which determines the size of the mounting bars and pins the attachment uses. Pick the class that matches your truck's carriage; the specs list both options for the 48, 60, 96, 108, and 120 inch lengths.

Where are these rug rams manufactured and what's the price range?

They are made in the USA by Vestil Manufacturing. Pricing across the 24 available models ranges from $681.71 for the 48-inch Class 2 carriage mount up to $1,816.96 for the 144-inch fork mounted unit, depending on length and mounting style.

Is there a warranty on these carpet poles?

Yes, Vestil covers the rug rams with a 1-year limited warranty. No further details on warranty terms are provided beyond the coverage length, so confirm specifics with the manufacturer if you need exact terms before purchase.

Which model should I choose if I'm not sure about mounting type?

Start by checking whether your forklift carriage is Class 2 or Class 3 if you want a carriage-mount unit (CR series), or whether you prefer a pole that slides directly onto the forks (CRF series) or in inverted position (CRP series). Then match the pole length to your longest roll.
