The Lift-N-Tow is a heavy-duty steel forklift attachment that adds towing and lifting capability, sliding directly over forklift forks without special tools. The Lift-N-Tow forklift towing attachment converts your forklift into a flexible lifting and towing tool. Duty level options are available (models 1390B, 1395B, 1396C), with maximum towing capacity of 10,000 pounds, 16,000 pounds, or 30,000 pounds based upon the chosen forklift. Hitch adapters can be switched out from one type to another, allowing for connection to multiple types of trailers (pintle hitch 1392, combo hitch 1393, Pintle Hitch 1394PH, Combo Hitch 1394CH). A universal slip-on fork style allows for easy installation on your forklift without using any specialized tools. Heavy-duty steel used in the construction of this product is designed to last and perform in a variety of harsh and high-use environments.

FAQ about this model

How much can this attachment tow?

Towing capacity is 10,000, 16,000 or 30,000 lbs depending on the model you order — the 1390B, 1395B and 1396C cover those three ratings. Match the model to the heaviest trailer or load you plan to move, not your average one, because the rating does not carry across models.

Will it fit my forklift's forks?

It fits forks up to 8" wide and 2¾" thick. The fork pockets measure 48" long x 8¾" wide with a 3" inside dimension, and the mount is a universal slip-on fork style, so it drops over existing forks with no truck modification. Measure your fork blades first — anything wider or thicker will not enter the pockets.

Is a hitch adapter included?

Hitch adapters are listed as separate options, not as part of the base attachment. The choices are a ball hitch, a pintle hitch (1392, 1394PH) and a combo hitch (1393, 1394CH). Note that the published 505 lb weight is quoted without a hitch adapter, so add your chosen adapter to both the order and your weight figure.

Can it lift a load as well as tow one?

Yes — the swivel hook is rated at 12,000 lbs for lifting. That is a separate rating from the towing capacity, so use the 12,000 lb figure for any suspended load and the model's towing figure only for pulling. Do not apply the 30,000 lb towing number to a load hanging from the hook.

How does it affect my forklift's rated capacity?

It weighs 505 lbs without a hitch adapter, and that weight sits forward of the carriage, which reduces what your truck can safely handle. OSHA's powered industrial truck standard requires trucks used with attachments to be marked for that configuration, so check your data plate and confirm the derated capacity before use.

How long will it take for my order to ship? When will I receive it?
