Star Industries Pallet Forks for Skid Steers are designed to give you more flexibility and faster performance when using your skid-steer loader for jobs involving hauling or managing loads. These forks have been made with strong, long-lasting steel, and can handle many loads and heavy pallets. The fork is built specifically to match your skid-steer model, this will give you a safer and a more stable ride. The reinforced end caps and leading edge of the forks add years to the service life as they can withstand wear and tear when working with large, heavy pallets and big, bulky materials. Star Industries pallet forks allow for easy loading, moving and unloading of products or equipment on all types of job sites including construction, agriculture and general material handling.

How much can each model lift?

The 110WT-ITA heavy duty walk-through is rated at 5,500 lbs and the 110EC-ITA economy model at 3,700 lbs. Choose the rating that covers your heaviest single load, not your average one. Your skid steer's own rated operating capacity also limits what you can safely pick up, so the lower of the two figures is the one that governs the job.

What are the frame dimensions?

The 110WT-ITA is 46" wide and 35" high; the 110EC-ITA is 30.5" wide and 27.5" high. Compare those widths against the pallets you handle and against the clear openings on your site, including doorways, aisles and trailer doors. The taller walk-through frame also changes how much you can see over and through the carriage.

How much do the forks weigh, and does that matter?

The 110WT-ITA weighs 268 lbs and the 110EC-ITA weighs 157 lbs. Attachment weight comes out of the payload your loader can handle, so the lighter economy frame leaves more working capacity on a smaller machine. The added weight of the walk-through frame is the trade-off for its higher 5,500 lb rating.
