The Yardbeast LZ-305 delivers 25 tons of splitting force, generated by a 4.0-inch cylinder bore with a 24-inch stroke. That combination gives enough force and travel to handle large-diameter rounds in a single pass, depending on wood species and knot density.

What engine powers this splitter?

It runs on a Kohler Command Pro CH395, a 9.5HP gas engine. This drives the hydraulic pump that operates the cylinder, so no external power hookup is needed as long as you have gas on hand.

Can I split logs both vertically and horizontally?

Yes. The LZ-305 works in both horizontal and vertical operating positions, and switching between them is done with a single lock pin conversion, so no tools are required to change modes.

Warranty

Manufacturer Warranty: 2 Years (parts & workmanship, residential use, continental US).

YardBeast warrants its wood chippers, chipper shredders and log splitters against defects in materials and workmanship for two (2) years from the date of original purchase. Engines are covered separately under the engine manufacturer's warranty (e.g. Kohler® Command Pro, typically 3 years commercial).

Wear items and normal maintenance parts are excluded. US-based parts and support — contact info@vovlift.com for warranty service.

How long will it take for my order to ship? When will I receive it?
Most orders are processed within 1-2 business days, starting the business day following the date the order was placed. Once dispatched, standard shipping typically takes an additional 1-5 business days (starting the business day after shipment).
