FAQ about this model

What size branches can this chipper handle?

The Yardbeast 3514 has a max chipping capacity of 3.5 inches. It's built for branch and brush material up to that diameter; anything larger should not be fed into the hopper.

What engine powers this chipper and how much horsepower does it have?

It runs on a 440cc Kohler OHV engine (model CH440) rated at 14HP. This is a gas engine, so no electrical hookup is needed to operate the unit.

Is this chipper self-feeding or do I need to push material through manually?

It uses a self-feeding design, so branches are pulled into the chipping mechanism once fed into the hopper rather than requiring constant manual pressure.

How is the chipper moved around a property or job site?

It sits on a 4-wheel trailer wagon design, making it towable or maneuverable by hand between locations. It also has a low center of gravity for added stability during operation.

What is the hopper like, and what material is the unit built from?

The hopper is extra-wide to accommodate feeding branches and brush, and the chassis is built from heavy-duty steel for durability under regular chipping use.

Does this chipper come with a warranty?

Yes, it includes a 2-year limited warranty from the manufacturer.
