FAQ about this model

What size branches can the Yardbeast 2090 chip?

It handles branches up to 3.5 inches in diameter. For material too thin or fibrous for the chipping chute, the 24 steel shredding hammers and 6 Fullshred flails process it through the separate shredding side of the hopper.

What engine powers this chipper shredder?

A 14HP Kohler CH440 Command Pro engine. This is the same engine platform used across a range of outdoor power equipment, and it drives both the chipping blade and the 24-hammer shredding rotor.

Is the 2090 easy to move around a property?

Yes, it rolls on 15-inch pneumatic wheels, which help it travel over grass, gravel, and uneven yard terrain. The frame itself is heavy-duty steel, built to stay stable while chipping or shredding.

What's the difference between the hammers and the flails?

The 24 steel hammers handle general shredding of yard debris like leaves and small brush, while the 6 Fullshred flails are a separate reducing stage designed to break material down further before it exits the machine.

What's included in the hopper design?

The unit has a large, wide-mouth hopper, which makes it easier to feed bulkier yard waste and brush without excessive cutting or pre-sorting compared to a narrow-chute design.

Does this machine come with a warranty?

Yes, it carries a 2-year limited warranty from Yardbeast.
