FAQ about this model

What is the maximum branch diameter this chipper can handle?

The Yardbeast 2050 has a chipping capacity of 3.0 inches. Branches larger than that should not be fed into the chipper chute, as the blade and engine are sized for material up to this diameter.

What engine powers this unit and how strong is it?

It runs on a Kohler CH395 engine rated at 9.5 HP with a 277cc displacement. This gives it enough power to chip wood up to 3.0 inches and shred yard debris through the hopper.

What size material fits in the shredding hopper?

The shredding hopper measures 18 x 17 inches. This opening size determines how much loose material, like leaves or small branches, you can load at once for shredding.

What kind of blades does the shredder use?

It uses a heat-treated steel Fullshred flail. This flail type is built to handle repeated shredding of yard waste without needing frequent blade changes.

How is the chipper moved around the property?

It rolls on 10-inch pneumatic tires. The tire size and pneumatic construction make it easier to move over uneven ground compared to solid wheels.

What warranty comes with the Yardbeast 2050?

It includes a 2-year limited warranty. No further warranty terms or exclusions are listed in the specifications, so check with Vovlift for full coverage details before purchase.
