FAQ about this model
How much weight can the EB14CS-118Li lift?
Rated load capacity is 3000 lbs at a 24 in load center. Load center distance is the rated distance from the fork face to the center of gravity of the load, so a pallet whose weight sits farther forward than 24 in is harder on the stacker than the rating suggests. The product data lists one capacity figure and no capacity-by-height chart.
What lift height does it reach, and how much overhead clearance does it need?
Maximum lift height is 118 in. The mast stands 147.6 in when fully extended and 81.7 in when lowered. Use the extended figure to check ceiling height, sprinkler heads and lights over the area where you will be stacking, and the lowered figure to check every doorway, roll-up opening and trailer the unit has to pass through.
Will the forks and legs fit my pallets?
Forks are 45.3 in long and 4 in wide each, and fork spread adjusts from 8.7 in to 32.1 in. The straddle legs adjust from 35.4 in to 51.2 in, so the base can be set around pallets of different widths. Lowered fork height is 2.6 in. Measure your pallet openings and outside width against those ranges before ordering.
How is it powered and charged?
It runs on a 24 V/50 Ah lithium battery with an internal 24 V/20 A charger, so charging is done through the onboard charger rather than a separate charging unit. Lifting is handled by a 2.2 kW lift motor and travel by a DC drive motor. The specifications do not state charge time or duty cycle, so confirm those before planning multi-shift use.
How much floor space does it need to maneuver?
Turning radius is 60.8 in, overall length is 73.7 in and maximum overall width is 61 in. Compare the turning radius against your narrowest aisle and any corner the unit has to negotiate loaded. Service weight is 1520 lbs, which is the figure to check against mezzanine ratings, dock plates, freight elevators and trailer floors.
What kind of site is this stacker suited to?
It suits indoor work on smooth, level, finished floors. The wheels are polyurethane and the frame is steel; polyurethane runs quietly and marks floors less than steel, but it does not absorb impact and handles poorly on broken asphalt, gravel or uneven outdoor yards. For rough or outdoor surfaces, a machine with pneumatic tires is the better choice.
