Vestil Aluminum Truck Dockboards (Welded Aluminum Curbs) (BTA)

The Aluminum Truck Dockboard is engineered and built to maximize safety while handling heavy fork trucks and loads. The beveled edge is designed for smooth entry and exit. Locking legs prevent movement during loading and unloading operations.

Locking legs are uneven to allow the dockboard to sit canted, while not in use, for easier pickup by fork trucks. Welded aluminum safety curbs prevent accidental runoffs and provide visible driving lane. When using three-wheeled fork trucks order dockboard with capacity at least four times the lifting capacity of fork truck.

The width of the dockboard should be at least 15 (in.) wider than the load or equipment passing between the curbs. Bend is 11 degrees and 9" from the edge and the legs are 12" from the edge. Manufactured in compliance with OSHA.

FAQ about this model

What weight capacities are available in this dockboard line?

Capacities across the 78 available models range from 11,000 lbs to 20,000 lbs. Each model number reflects its rated capacity, so you can match the board to your heaviest expected load, whether that's a pallet jack, forklift, or loaded cart crossing between dock and truck bed.

What sizes do these dockboards come in?

Sizes span 78"×36" down to 60"×42" across the line, with numerous width and length combinations in between. Measure your dock opening and the gap to the truck bed before choosing a model, since board length needs to safely span that distance.

What are these dockboards made of?

They are welded aluminum construction, part of Vestil's BTA aluminum truck dockboard series with welded aluminum curbs. Aluminum construction keeps the board lighter than steel alternatives, which can make handling and positioning easier at variable dock heights.

Where are these dockboards manufactured, and what warranty applies?

These are made in the USA by Vestil Manufacturing and carry a 1-year limited warranty. Confirm the specific model number and capacity you need, since pricing and specs vary by size and load rating within this 78-model lineup.

How much do these dockboards cost?

Pricing across the line runs from $1,175.19 up to $5,657.69 depending on the model's size and capacity rating. Smaller, lower-capacity boards sit at the lower end of that range, while larger, higher-capacity units cost more.

Who is this dockboard series suited for?

This series suits facilities loading and unloading trucks at a dock where a portable or fixed aluminum board is needed to bridge the gap safely. With capacities from 11,000 to 20,000 lbs and multiple sizes, buyers can match a model to specific dock dimensions and load weights.
