Fleet and transportation work rewards flow and mobility over peak pressure. Trailer sides, chassis and equipment decks are large, mostly flat, and often covered in road film rather than baked-on deposits. Shoppers looking for a walk behind pressure washer, a riding pressure washer or pallet washers for sale are usually after flat-surface productivity or a wash line. Two different things get called the same name. A rotary surface cleaner is an attachment that spins bars of nozzles under a shroud so you clean a wide swath at even standoff distance instead of wand-striping the slab. Self-propelled and ride-on machines add a drive system for very large areas. OSHA warns against running fuel-powered equipment in enclosed or poorly ventilated spaces because of carbon monoxide, which applies to every engine-driven and burner-equipped machine here. And high-pressure water can inject through skin; treat any such wound as a surgical emergency, not a scrape. Beyond that, routine service is simple and decides how long a pump lasts: change pump oil on schedule, keep the inlet filter clean, replace worn nozzles when pressure drops at constant RPM, and winterize with antifreeze if the machine stores unheated.
