FAQ about this model
What is the difference between the A-model and the B-model?
The B-model cleans a wider path with two brush motors, while the A-model uses one. The A-model has a 560 mm cleaning width, a 24V/550W brush motor and 3000 m²/h work efficiency. The B-model has a 660 mm cleaning width, two 24V/550W brush motors and 3500 m²/h. Both share the 900 mm suction width, the same tanks and the same chassis dimensions.
How long does the GFC85 run on a charge, and how long does it take to recharge?
It runs 3–4 hours per charge and recharges in 3–4 hours. Power comes from a 24V 80Ah lithium battery, which drives the 550W brush motor (two on the B-model) and the 500W suction motor. Because run time and charge time are similar, back-to-back shift work needs either a planned charging window or a second machine.
How much water do the tanks hold?
The clean water tank holds 85 L and the recovery (sewage) tank holds 95 L. The recovery tank is larger because it takes back the solution you put down plus rinse water and picked-up soil. How long a fill lasts depends on your water flow setting and how heavily soiled the floor is, so refill intervals vary by site.
Will it fit through my doors, aisles and lift?
The machine measures 1350 × 900 × 1150 mm (L × W × H), so the 900 mm width is the figure to check against doorways, aisle clearances and lift openings. The 1150 mm height matters for low overheads and for transport. Measure your narrowest access point before ordering, and allow extra space for the turning arc of a ride-on machine.
What kind of site is this scrubber suited to, and where is it a poor fit?
It suits large, open hard-floor areas such as warehouses, production halls and retail floors, where the rated 3000 m²/h (A-model) or 3500 m²/h (B-model) coverage pays off. It is a poor fit for congested layouts with narrow aisles, short cleaning runs or heavy furniture, where a 900 mm wide ride-on cannot use its speed advantage.
What routine maintenance does it need?
Daily care is mostly tanks and the suction path. Empty and rinse the 95 L recovery tank after each use, drain any solution left in the 85 L clean water tank, and clear debris from the brush deck and squeegee so the 500W suction motor keeps a clean seal. Recharge the 24V 80Ah lithium battery between shifts. Brushes and squeegee blades are wear items.
